It's because the PS3 doesn't have that many good online games right now.
Kinda wish I had gotten an xbox360, the only two really good online shooter's PS3 ever got was Killzone 2 and uncharted 2.. the online on those are pretty much dead now :/

I agree with aaronon the spawn killing is bad. I don't think this game requires a lot of skill, just party up with decent people, take advantage of hawk & tank and you'll finish matches with a ridiculous kd.
The rifle kills quick if you shoot them in the head but if you aim for the body it might take two clips
