Because the character you create is YOU, whether you role play or not, and you tend to enjoy the game more when it is YOU and not someone else.
Geralt of what? The same attitude was also used with Tomb Raider and Lara Croft. I didnt play Tomb Raider because of Croft. I played it because it was a cool game. The story of the Witcher is surely awesome though.

This game is gonna be great. I would much rather play a game like this where I could create my own character though, much like Skyrim or the great Kingdoms of Amalur.
I must have completed it 100 times. Several times I completed with only 2 peeps.
This was just a planted article to see the reactions of "WHAT IF" Bungie started selling items. IMO that would totally ruin this game. TOTALLY. This game is like a FPS rpg and PROGRESSION through hardwork should be rewarded, not who has the most money.
If I find out they are doing this before this game comes out I will not buy it.

Titan and Wizards seem to be the FOTM characaters, especially against singe targets. I didnt see that many Titans. But when you are being over run by 20 enemies at one time the Titan Smash saves the day.
Not to mention I love firing the rocket launchers and machine guns. Can the other classes use these weapons? I didnt play them.

Tomb Raider, the original game, was about the adventure. The game came with instructions on how to operate the character but that was it.
There was minimum music that only played when something happened to point you in a direction. I loved hearing echos and the sounds of the game itself. It was quiet and you focused on how to advance through the game by investigating and wondering around to solve the puzzles.
That was a great game. 2 was pretty good. The rest...

Infamous isnt a great game. it was a good game and the ONLY game in town to get. The last of Us is hands down the most OVERRATED and OVERHYPED game in the history of games. it isnt even in the top 10 all times games of this decade and Sony bots cry about how great it is. I played it one time through and sold it.
Sony can't even get the PS 4 a great game, much less the vita.
This game just keeps getting better and better. I really hope they add Zelda elements to this game, other than just smashing stuff, which I love anyways. :)
