360 did great last holiday and this holiday season there is a far better game libary.
I mean come on how could anyone think that PS3 would sell more the 360 during the holidays. The PS3 was not even able to sell more then the 360 last Nov or Dec and the PS3 launched then with all the PS2 hype behind it. Only took one game to fuel the 360 sales last time (Gears) this Holiday the 360 has Halo3, Mass Effect,Still has Gears, Bioshock, and so on.
NPD numbers for last Nov and Dec
Nov- 360-511k and PS3-197k
Dec- 360-1,100,00 and PS3-491k
Ok 360 did have Gears to help the 360 but this year it has Halo3, Mass Effect, Bioshock, all the multiplats, still has gears, and many others. The 360 still has the best game libary of any console. Also the 360 sold that much in the same month that PS3 was launched with all that hype.
Last NPD was 360 366K and PS3 121K so that is still 3-1. Even if the PS3 sold 3 times as much it still sold slightly less. As far as you can not see the 360 sell over 400k. Why not it would only need 34k ...
So you think PS3 is the only console that will be effected by Hoiday sales? You do not think other consoles will sell more? You are trying to compare last month numbers. Again in Oct last year 360 sold 218,000 and in Nov it sold 511,000 and in Dec it sold 1,100,000. So as you can see the holiday season had a huge effect on 360 last year. Notice the jump from Oct to Nov. Why would it not happen again. So like I said holiday season will effect all sales. Also if PS3 sales were so great right ...
Hello it is the Holiday season I hope they are able to sell more in November. I admit I pretty much think PS3 is a no show in North America and will stay that way. Even I expect though for it to sell more in November. Notice it does not say in the article it is closed the gap on the 360 or the Wii because all systems sell more now. Wake me up when there is a article saying that PS3 is catching up to 360 or Wii sales in North America.
Fine I will put it this way. You only want to talk about 2 games which only came in 6 and 13. Here is the software totals though the 360-2,358,209 and the PS3-848,509. As you can see the 360 had almost 3 times the software sales. Now you can throw out personal insults again but I understand you are just upset that you bought the most expensive console and it is a box of fail. No reason to get so upset though just because the PS3 is doing so bad.
Better then what? Show me where PS3 AC or CoD4 outsold the 360 in America. Best I have is VG Charts and the 360 had 2 and 3rd slot with AC and CoD4 on last weekly American chart. So what is it better then. Face it PS3 software sales are again I say HORRID. PS3 had 6 and 13th with those games.
Well we have all heard developer after developer talk about how much more effort it is needed to just get a PS3 game to match a 360 game. Why put in that effort when PS3 software sales are horrid
Wow talk about grasping for straws by saying damage control for UT3.If anything seems like you the one doing damage control because a 360 game is talked about.
The developers for this game are also doing Dead Island which is 360/PC game also.
I love seeing all the damage control from the Sony fans.Face it this game looks like it will be another great title for the 360 game libary.
Why spend full price on a 5 hour game that does not even have online play? I know the Sony fanboys will say 5 hours is a the perfect time for a game like that. Get real though HS is a rental at best.

And here comes the pre-damage control for the low PS3 sales that are about to come out. Face it the sky is blue, the sun is hot, and the PS3 will fail when it come to NPD numbers. Just some things are a given.
Software sales was the same when Madden came out so why would it be hard to believe GH3 doing the same?
That makes no sense at all. Support Sony? While I agree PS3 software sales are horrid but why support a company? So pay $60 for games to support a company where you will not get any money back. They will not send you a fruit basket or anything.. Try being a gamer and not a company fanboy. People should buy games to enjoy and have fun not to support a company.
It shows the 360 Elite is sold out also. opps looks like 360 is selling there also.
This has to be the first company to get rid of not one but two models in less then a year.

This game looks to be really fun. I am looking foward to it. Glad to hear it is gold now.
