Is there any way this game can live up to the hype? It looks fantastic, but.... I want to believe, but I don't think my heart can take another disappointment.

This game, and the many others of its caliber, hack away with no rhyme or reason at Nintendo's rock solid reputation. Still Purveyors of Fun, but now related, in a way, to Purveyors of Douchebaggery.

Although the game play sounds sucky, this is probably worth getting for the nostalgia value alone.

When I finished A Link to the Past, Wind Waker and Ocarina of Time, I was really sad because I was so engrossed in the story lines. And I played them for so long that I felt like I earned the privilege of watching the end credits. I didn't feel that way at all with TP. I wasn't really moved. It was more like, "oh good, it's over." I guess the industrial length of time that we waited for TP to finally come out didn't really help. How could it have possibly lived up to my expecta...

Weren't they called Iron Maidens? Those big slowly moving, erratically breathing monsters down by the jail cells. When you get to close they attack. Those things scared the heck outta me.
I can guarantee that if somebody posted any of our @$$es on youtube doing the Wii Fit hula hoop we wouldn't get > 2,000,000 views.
