I just modded my PS3 with Gerbils so I didn't have use the wall outlet.
Ok jokes aside what is with some of these people that come up with this stuff.
Bathyj-The PS2 can't shoot a missle....damn thought that was standard feature(yes I thought it was funny)...Anyway jokes aside, games in full 1080p would be nice however there are very few in relation to 720p and 1080i resolution screens out there.
with a ton of great games that helped revolutionize gaming. The MGS series, SOCOM, GOW, and it helped bring online console gaming around. Also promoted 2 MMORPGs on console. I remember my wife being pissed when I walked in the door with it.
The PS3 may have had a slow start, but is starting to come along nicely. Lots of anticipated games and good games on the market. Regardless, enjoy your PS3's Europe.
I agree with Madden I have owned mine since launch day and have enjoyed it very much.
And Madden once I can get Motorstorm figured out (been working nights since release date) I will take that challenge, of course I will get smoked but hey.
is the way to go. as far as I know all Next Gen consoles are broadband only. You gotta get it
I got a little angry. Well it looks like it is turning out for the better, hopefully. This is good news indeed for the EU folks.
how? This dude needs to retire to a small island and stick his head in the ground. He has proven himself to be the world's biggest jackass
then maybe your reading it wrong. Jakens and Oldschool had it right. There were a lot of critical reviews of every single console at release and after. Xbox didn't exactly recieve to warm of a welcome when it was released and neither did the PS1(if I remember correctly). All the Big 3 should listen to what being reported about each of there systems and do whats right for the consumers.
would just give my son another excuse to play video games another 8 hours in the day. Bad idea in my opinion.
That was one of the smartest posts I have seen yet. Hell look at the PC side of the house. The Viao uses MS Windows and has Blu-Ray player built in on some models. Doesn't this mean that Windows has to have hardware support for it built in? Good post Bladestar
down to what people want. Calling this a war IMO is silly. Everybody on the MS and Sony side of the house has counted the Game Cube out for a few years now. Yet the GC still has games being released on it like splinter cell. I myself don't have a X360(my son has a 360), do I think it sucks, no. Does it beat the hell out of PS3, not in my opinion(and yes I have a PS3). On the flipside does the PS3 beat the hell out of X360, once again, not in my opinion. Each console does something better than...
will never die. There have been many games on PC that never did or will make it consules. A lot of valid points here yes, but PC gaming dying? Look at MMORPG's 100% of them are on PC and about 1% are on consules. The only 2 that are on consules are FFX11 and Everquest Online for PS2(and it sucked compared to its big brother(s). FPS were born and still rock on PC. This complaint also came about when Windows 95 came out and DOS games had to be upgraded or scraped because of the windows interfac...
I was thinking more of that dude from the movie Powder
wonder if it was actually the controller he had in his lap.
That has got to be the first statement out of any Company Exec that hasn't sounded like utter BS. I actually stopped and reread the whole thing to make sure.
a comment, but with this news wouldn't be possible to base a game were the server handles most of the calculations like most MMORPG's? Wouldn't this be nice leap for gamers all around for large online game worlds and lag free.
one of things its best at. A large interactive world. This is a good thing with a lot of promise to it. Heck look at the size and features of the Everquest world, this alone would give some testament to the possibilities that can be brought to Home. This could only get better with time in my opinion.
by Sony again. Before I get trolled I do have a PS3 and enjoy it. However this is SHYT. Not being 100% BC before release is a crock. I can see the the cost benefit going with emulation versus a hardware set up, but it should have been stated up front. That seems to be the answer for Sony these days "it wil be fixed in a future update". If anyone remembers the PSP begining (yes I own one) that was the problem then and they still have fixes to do versus all the crap "updates"...
Seriously folks some of you need to give the trolling, flaming, and fayboyism (opps ment fanboyism{spellcheck what a tool}) a major rest. No one really cares about a price comparision that can be spun so many different directios or what technology is better or wether wired internet is better than wireless, as Microsfot said it (yes a PS3 boy agreeing with ol' Pete, earthshaking I know) its about choice. Some choose a 360 some choose PS3. Both have Pros and Cons, but ultimately it what I choos...
