The Sony crowd showing up yet again with a cogent, informed perspective on gaming. Maturity for the win!
Clearly, you didn’t read the article.
Hilarious to read all these comments from Sony fanboys who are foaming at the mouth after only reading the headline.
This isn’t an article about Xbox having exclusive games that are GotY contenders. It’s an article stating that great games have been released in general—most of which are multiplatform—that could go on to become game of the year. It’s literally just a guy saying that we should feel lucky as gamers to have such an awesome selection of great games during a typi...
Can't believe you're being downvoted for this very reasonable take. Condolences.
This is weirdly worded. Sure, Sony owns them, but a stipulation of the acquisition was that all of Bungie’s future games would be multiplatform. None of these projects will be exclusive to Sony The headline might as well be “Bungie is working on unannounced projects.”
(It says all of this in the article. I just think that the headline is misleading.)
Wild that you're getting downvoted just for being enthusiastic about an acquisition that benefits you as a gamer. The toxicity on this site is downright depressing these days.
It’s a cash grab because of how it was positioned. And for the fact that the original remaster is available on the same console with Playstation Plus Collection.
But it just doesn’t show. I think most of us do understand that a lot of work goes into making a game. But the problem is with how this was positioned. It doesn’t seem “rebuilt from the ground up.” Rather, it looks like it was remastered to take advantage of the PS5 specs and features. And if that’s what it is, how can it be worth $70 when the original remaster is still available on the same console? At $40 or even $50, maybe this doesn’t feel like a cash grab. At $70, it’s pretty shameful. ...
When I heard this described as “rebuilt from the ground up”, I imagined that Naughty Dog would tear the original game down to its studs and build something fresh for the PS5. I was expecting that they’d take some risks even. I mean, why not? The original remaster is still available on the same console.
The simple truth is that this is not what was promised. The frustration is with how this “remake” was positioned. If Naughty Dog had just called it what it is—a remaster tha...
So many Sony fans can’t stomach any positive reporting on what Microsoft offers. They don’t realize that this isn’t an article bashing PS+, but rather a piece promoting an infrequently discussed benefit of game pass. It’s sad. But also a bit funny.
The insecurity of some Sony fans responding to this is bewildering. To summarize the comments here:
• Dualshockers is an Xbox site in disguise
• The reviewer is probably someone who plays Fortnite
• The only goal of the article is clickbait
Who cares if a reviewer didn’t connect with a game? If you’re interested in it, buy it. There’s no grand anti-PS5 conspiracy at play just because some reviewers had a less positive experience with Str...
So you're saying that gamers buy what's available regardless of whether they want it. Right. So by that logic, I would buy Battlefield 2042 because it's available at my local store even though I don't want it whatsoever? You might need to rethink your take here. Because the logic is...nonexistent.
If I have to wait a few months for better games, you'll get no complaints from me.
All of you Sony kids care far too much about this acquisition.
