I have never played Morrowind but having played Oblivion I feel it's a better ES game than Skyrim though I do enjoy playing both games.
Don't blame the consoles blame Ubisoft, even the pc version needs beefy specs to get it running right. I think Ubisoft needs to be taught a lesson with mass refunds of this game.
Lol so true, I spent the whole week figuring out mod incompatibilities and also cleaning dirty mods. The end result though made my game experience with Skyrim a lot more enjoyable compared to when I first played it without mods a couple of years ago. Right now I've got 56 mods running well and plan to add more in a few days.

Yeah I mostly game on pc but I still get blown away too on some modern console games. I played the ps4 silent hill demo and I just have to say that it looks so damn realistic. It really is worth it to both have a pc and console for gaming...best of both worlds. I really can't understand some pc gamers elitist attitude towards consoles. Having both makes my gaming life much more fun :)

I'm actually torn lol. If I had to go sli I would have to replace my motherboard for the setup. Seeing the 970 has more or less the same performance as the 780 while also being cheaper makes it quite an attractive card. Even a tri 760 sli doesn't look too good considering the power consumption it generates and the scaling on the 970 is even better compared to a 760. I'll just have to wait for the ti version before doing an upgrade since I know it will use fewer wat...
To be honest I wouldn't be surprised if it does look amazing. Naughty Dog is one of the few devs with a great track record. In naughty dog we trust :)
I really want to upgrade to a gtx 970 to replace my gtx 760. I was gonna go with an sli 760 but a single powerful card is still a better choice. But knowing nvidia they'll release a ti version which would perform much better and also I'm waiting for amd's newer cards to see if they can compete with the new 900's pricing and performance.
People clamoring for a price drop have no idea how much money it takes to design, build, market and mass produce the console. The only way for the PS4 to get a price reduction is when they release a new model that cuts down on production costs.
That's not being overconfident. That's simply just having good business sense. If they're taking a loss with each Ps4 being sold then having a price cut would incur a much larger loss. If they are simply selling well then there is simply no point in cutting down the price. Cutting back the price of a new product is actually a reflection of weak sales and a weak product overall.
Even if I can afford the tv I'd need a beefy rig to run my games at that resolution. I ain't throwing that much money on new technology that would become much cheaper in the near future.

Agreed, even an i3 give a good performance on most games. An 8 core is still unnecessary given that very few games are optimized to use all 8 cores. The best does not simply mean having the most expensive parts.

I will never waste my money on prebuilt systems. It's so easy to build a pc these days that I find the alienware pricing ridiculous considering I can buy something better with the same amount of money and the only thing I sacrifice is the alienware logo.
I agree, one of the joys of owning a pc is the freedom you have when building one. Upgrading the i3 or even the gpu on this machine is also gonna make it much more expensive, people are better off building their own from scratch. The i3 is a good processor but there are now lots of games that are using four or more cores along with the threads. Right now is the best time to build a pc with the gtx 970 giving a very high performance while having a low price.
Stress does that to people as they age lol. But seriously anyone who turns 30 and looks awful means they aren't taking care of themselves. There are lots of people over 30 (and even some above 50) that still look hot.

I saw the demo and it really seems scary to play! I hope this brings back to life the survival horror genre.

This isn't about which console is the most capable of running this game cause this clearly isn't the issue at hand. The problem here is AC unity just overall sucks on all platforms. Even the pc version needs a lot of brute force to get the game played on the highest settings. I say Ubisoft screwed everyone here by taking everyones money and selling them a very badly optimized game.
