That is according to "one" report when almost all the reports puts the PS3 hardware failure estimates worldwide still at 5-8% which is still acceptable. My PS3 has been used everyday for more than a year w/o any problems and i also live in a hot and humid country.
You may be really confused because it was the "other" company that kept denying all those "defects". Sony has never denied the YLOD.

im quite disappointed about not having the career mode.....it aint GT w/o it and being unable to customize also sucks. Ive been waiting for years for a psp version and i get a gimped GT? No thanks GT isnt an arcade game and its just lost its spirit. I dont mind the disagree's but ive been a PS fan all my life and one of the things that symbolize the PS brand is GT and that aint GT in my book.
19 years is a long time for someone working for a single company. I bet he just wants to move on to other things. I mean who wouldn't be bored doing the same job for 19 years?

I did say that Square will come back snaking its way in Sony's backyard when the PS3 is finally on a roll......I was right and I am not going to support Square anymore given how much time they wasted before releasing a game for the PS3. The PS3 was able to make it without Square and now Square is going to try and take credit that the PS3 will now sell lots of units because they are finally releasing FF.....utter b*^@#%t. So many other developers have stuck with Sony even if the PS3 wasnt doin...

Well they say peace of mind can cost a lot of money, but i think someone will buy this just for the sake of having a "custom 360". If i had to waste $900 id just splurge it all on booze and women in a single night.....much more satisfying too.
Those damn grenades get me everytime!!! Its like im a grenade magnet or something cause most of my deaths are from those damn grenades...but yeah i agree that the AI in Killzone 2 is just right.
That wasn't really my intention, but im just happy that the PS3 is really doing well after years of bad publicity.
I guess its all down to what you are used to and im used to both the mouse and analogue sticks but saying the analogue sticks are a poor mans mouse is way off.
Im just happy that it sold well...no need to gloat cause not every 360 fan is a douche and im not the kind of person who kicks someone when they're down. Anyways with this developers will have a huge confidence in making more games for the PS3 and hopefully more than what our wallets are able to purchase which is good and bad at the same time. 2010 will be a very interesting time to be a PS3 owner.
