I agree that the ps2 was the weakest of the consoles of that generation but that didnt stop them from making good looking games with great gameplay which lead to its success. There is no other console that has reached this type of longevity and the PS3 is following its older brothers path quite nicely. Remember the PS2 also had issues of being the hardest to develop at that time and the games only got better visually after 3 years.
What idiot disagreed with you two? You only said U2 was one of the best looking games youve played and i also agree with it. Its pathetic to disagree with someone and not state your opinion. They didnt diss any console or game by saying this because it is FACT, so much that its one game that the media and gamers all agree upon. Not only does Uncharted look good but so does the gameplay.
I dont really know what to make of it, maybe it was due to user error? I just installed windows 7 on our other pc and it hasnt given me any head aches yet. I didn;t know about the touch screen feature though. Lets be honest here, even if i don't like MS i dont have a choice but to use Windows since there isnt any other OS out there that can support the games i want so we're all in the same boat and if it sinks then good bye to pc gaming unless Apple or Linux can support all the games.
But if you game a lot those 6 year old specs just wont cut it anymore. I also have a work pc that's just as old and i do my own maintenance. People who aren't power hungry would be just happy with any type of computer as long as they can surf and do their work but people like me like to upgrade yearly to the point of just replacing everything so i can play new games. For a gamer it is overpriced and for that price i can make the ultimate gaming rig.

This is one war were i wish both sides would turn to dust. But anyway im still using xp because of the games and i dont really find it that troublesome cause i know how to troubleshoot my own pc's. I find Apple more evil (but more stylish) than MS but they are still on the same boat (that i really want to sink). They overprice their product even if the innovation they offer are minimal or copied at best.

1:Silent Hill 1= couldnt play with the lights out
2:Resident Evil 3= Nemesis always pops out and chases you.
This isn't about fanboyism for me. I buy games based on graphics and gameplay, it won't do without the other for me. A lot of games coming out this year have already proven that you can have both. I can still play some old favorite games from within my 30 year gaming but can you make someone else in this generation play those games without laughing at my generation because the graphics would look silly by comparison.
Graphics are the main reason for the fast evolution of pc and consoles. Ive been a gamer for 30 years and in all those years eye candy was one of the main reasons for me upgrading my pc's. Let's face it, men generally are stimulated visually and i cant find myself playing the games i started out with years ago.

lets be honest, it doesnt matter if she just lies down as long by just looking at her she gives me a big boner. I know what you mean though, if its only the graphics and not the gameplay is good then the game aint worth it, but fortunately for me ive been having a blast this year with great looking games that are equally good at the gameplay department.
Uhhmm no. My ps3 and my pc has me covered for my gaming needs. Hell if i want a 360 i can afford one but since MS doesnt have any warranty support in my country if it rrod'd on me i would have just threw away hard earned money. Putting bluray on the 360 now would be pointless. I guess they are adopting bluray for their next gen console which is a more logical move. I mean how in the world are you gonna put out a next gen console if it only has a dvd drive?

Yeah id definitely agree with doing a desert theme for 3. But let Naughty Dog have its well deserved vacation while we play Uncharted 2 to the fullest, even if we do want it now.

Yeah it might have won the sales wars but it doesnt make it an enjoyable system so in a sense it still fails because it didnt deliver what a console is supposed to do which is be fun and worth your money. Have fun playing with sales.
