I liked it aside from the bad jokes.
God, I hope not.
Maybe they'll show some gameplay as playing Ciri, with da "blink" ability.
When I read the title I thought of Max Payne 2 and I don't even like unrealistic boss fights where the guy is wearing a 100 invisible bulletproof vests.
Good, Pillars of Eternity haven't had overlooked for a change.
Witcher 3... I started reading the books 2 days ago, I'm on the third book now and damn they are amazing; I'm loving them more than asoiaf series. I wish I had read them before even playing witcher 1, games would have been much more enjoyable then.. at least 3rd game will be.
Characters are bland/bad/inconsistent throughout the games, plus boring stories. Why try to do justice to ubisoft's failures?
I don't know about the second son tho.
Last MMO I played was Age of Conan which is one of the heaviest in quality terms and it was using like 1.3gb in the task manager, atm Dragon Age Inquisition uses nearly 3gb. Tho I don't know if the task manager reflects the real usage or not.
Also why's the ram requirement important? I'd be much more concerned about vga and cpu, ram is much cheaper.
As long as it's optimized unlike AC Unity, specs are fine.
@TheSaint
You misunderstood. He had PC and xbox 360 to begin with. I don't know exactly which one he had first since I don't know him personally but I'm pretty sure he was a PC gamer to begin with based on his favorite games and such. f.i. he always says he's a sucker for 4X strategy games.
I didn't intended "PC fanboy" thing as a reply to you, was just making a point that he plays most games on most platforms.
If you get it on PC, make sure you have a gamepad, mouse/keyboard controls are baaaaad.
Mafia 1 is a classic. Mafia 2 was good on its own terms and era but not a worthy sequel to Mafia 1 IMO.
He was always a PC first player. He had xbox 360 and no ps3. Now he has both ps4 and xbone along with da PC. While I don't mind anyone playing games on consoles and count myself a PC player; he's a lot more diverse and plays most genres of games as well, far off from being a PC fanboy.
"However, Inquisition went about this in the worst possible way. Think of lore like any bit of written communication. A short, concise statement that leaves the reader satisfied is going to gather a lot more invested readers than over-the-top verbosity with very little to say. Inquisition clearly favoured the latter approach."
I agree on this part.
I'm not against their "new IPs", but if they are doing an elder scrolls instead of a fallout game right now then the logical explanation is they think elder scrolls will sell better. So if this is the case; they could have made the fallout game instead of these new IPs and most probably made a lot more money out of it. So I'm debating their "hypothetical strategy in the case they are doing ES instead of Fallout" and how this contradicts with previously released two...
Well, shit.
Give the "hard won" licence to Obsidian or better to CDPR if you wont do a fallout game.
Yeah we like elder scrolls but what kind of business strategy is this? You could have earned a lot more money if you didn't make The Evil Within/The New Order and made a Fallout game with the resources put into those, not that I'm saying those are bad games but it's the same thing making another Elder Scrolls instead of Fallout and tho it...
Far Cry 4 has the same graphics as Far Cry 3, yet we see it as top quality graphics somehow. It's like calling AC Black Flag has top graphics last year. People should consider physics in the graphics. When you add enough physics to facial animations and clothes you have AC Unity and it's truly impressive. I mean 2007's Crysis has better facial animations than 2013's Black Flag and 2014's Far Cry 4. They're tricking us by a few new lighting effects and we are like &qu...
About Unity combat; beside unresponsiveness if you can't run away or block or do anything against the incoming attack while you make a "finisher" move, it's a broken combat. Either give some options or don't do long ass finisher animations.
Maybe don't fill all the map with meaningless collectibles. I'm a completionist but when I try to complete AC or Far Cry fully I give up half way and loose all my interest on the game. Also gameplay sucks, how many years since AC2 release? still the same gameplay, yeah unity removed the win/block button but now it's either too easy or too hard; unbalanced and more importantly unresponsive.
Also, making an open world game which is explorable at will and locking ski...
I don't spend time on youtube that much but when I do I check out angry joe; even if I don't have any interest on a game or some controversy, it's fun to watch him go nuts and angry about that.
Meh. It's a GoT game, it's to be expected, it's not an original thing from fucking adventure genre killers/telltale games.
Can't wait.
