I imagine the writer got a lot of flak for save scumming, so it probably prompted the feeling that he needed to explain himself.
Though I believe the map packs for Halo 5 will be free as well! :D
I tried out Breakout, and it's good for hardcore players. For more casual ones like me, it's a bit too intense.
I'm surprised there's only three. Where's the city map that we saw before? I was hoping it was a launch map.
Not gonna lie, I was pretty blown back by the scope of Walker Assault. It may feel like an unbalanced mess, but it's a GOOD LOOKING unbalanced mess :P
I don't believe it's a duplicate article since I uploaded part one myself, but if you believe otherwise you could ask a mod to take it down.
I'm one of the rare folks who loves FF13.
"Maybe some people just don't get everything this masterpiece has to offer."
I think the game is just not stellar in everything it does.
However, I will say that what it does right, it does extremely well. The graphics are amazing. The gameplay is awesome. The "shaky cam" cinematography is surprisingly effective.
"I don't care if you didn't like the game or thought it was disappointing."
What do you expect from an OPINION PIECE? :/
It's fine if you love the game. In fact, I think it's great, because you have a product that YOU enjoy. But I wouldn't dismiss someone else's opinion just because it's different from mine.
And the writer actually loves the game. Disappointing =! hating
The gameplay is so frickin' king. There's tons of lovely tools to mess with the enemies with, and any game where you can trick a guard into believing "the box moved on its own" is awesome.
I won't disagree that it's a fantasic game!
I don't think it's a bad MGS game either. Not the best either.
Well, name's right there in the description.
A trick's a trick, and I just happen to think it's a swell one. Yes, in reality, it's really simple, but it does bring a set of mind games along with it.
That, and I'm a little wuss who screams at jump scares :P
I think that's why it intrigues me so much. It's something that could only really be done by indirect contact via online capabilities, hence the line "without the prankster telling you it was [a prank]."
But yeah, nothing wrong with not playing online.
It's a very niche genre. Some are better than others.
I heard good things about Katawa Shoujo but never played it myself.
Agreed: I don't need that in a Gears of War game.
Wasn't she the chick who was a Fed or something?
Won't argue with that!
There's another part posted, and it sounds like there's even a part 3 teased at the end.
" Sometimes losing a character is the only way to get an alternate quest. "
Does that happen in Fallout 4? I know in games like Mass Effect, losing characters leads to cool scenes you couldn't see otherwise (like the "Citadel" scene in Mass Effect 3).
