As much as i love classic resi,its just another remake instead of new games which was the reason i spent all this money in the first place.
So far next gen = remasters & cross gen games,geez nxt gen is so lame so far.....mgs5 better be good considering its cross gen too???.
I hope its a return to old form,hardcore tactical stealth shooter,but tbh my biggest concern is if it will even work,coz ubisoft suck at making games,i love there concepts though.
Clancy games set the bar back in 00-05,its just since then ubisoft has been homogenising them all to play like call of duty.
Resist don't cave in,it will benefit us all in the long run.The publishers only speak one language MONEY!!!!!!!!.......if the profits take a hit then publisher sit up and listen to us.....look at AC unity for example,ubisoft would never have tried to fix it if it wasn't affecting there share prices.
I played loads of games during the alpha,and your guess is correct,it gets boring real fast.
Its the type of game that demos well at E3 in 10-20 min sessions,but once you get a few hours with it you realise it boils down to following glowing footprints for 10 mins then 10-15 of unbalanced death match.
The flying kracken was well overpowered,but overall its just a bit dull IMO.

why would devs/pubs care about making a working product when the ppl buying the game don't care if its working or not?......

Agreed,ubisoft did a similar thing with watchdogs.....calling aiden Pierce's baseball cap iconic when its a new IP that nobody had played at the time.
They also sold five different dlc pre order versions of it,which IMO is absolute contempt of the highest order towards paying customers.
"Publisher customer contempt" is probably the biggest change I've noticed that's come with this generation of consoles,not saying it wasn't happening...
Agreed, look at 'dying light' if you pre order on xb1 you get the vs mode.
Oh how I miss the days of paying £40 for a game and actually getting the game.
Where did games industry loose its way?..... am I being entitled to expect a full game for £54.99?...so what happens if you don't pre order?......my guess is the same as alien isolation......you pay,yes its only a few pounds/dollars,but its the fact all this stuff used to be standard. ...
This gen so far has just put me off gaming,all we got for hundreds of £/$ are better textures,and even thats a struggle with the current hardware.
Really hope mgs 5 turns out to be a next gen game,coz so far i'm regreting my purchases more everyday.....cant believe all that most ppl care about is 1080p.

Because the devs know their games are rehashed/remastered rubbish that if we got to try b4 we buy,wouldnt sell at all.
Both consoles so far imo just arnt the massive upgrade that was 360/ps3,and imho i'm we'll underwhelmed.
Fully agreed on everthing,i said the same about a week after launch,the control/combat is horrible and the stealth seems messed up.
What is it with n4g and late reviews,geez this game was out 2 months ago,and yeah its alright for a complete cut n paste game,what the hell took two years I don't know?,the only new additions are the buzzer and grapple hook,even the enemy's are the same as fc3.
I did sort of enjoy it but defo won't buy it again if ubisoft just cut n paste fc5,at least change the colour of the enemy uniforms next time.

I often wonder when I'm on n4g what its like to literally be in love with a brand name/hardware producer,can't understand it at all.
I don't know if anyone has noticed but there are games on x1 that require an internet connection,the evil within,pvz,fh2,ac unity,these games won't load without being connected.
Not sure if game share is causing the problem though?
DRM is slowly being introduced as we spk,not every game I got requires it but most require internet to even access my game saves.
Collectors edition?...don't you mean cheap Chinese plastic toy edition for men who never grew up.........sorry only messing,but I do think these crappy toys are one of the worst things to come out of the game industry,along with season passes/pre-order bonuses/day one dlc.
