I'm totally against remakes now, If the old game was a masterpiece, just don't do it and make something fresh on the same level.

I do still own a PS1, 2, 3 & 4 and I disagree on what you just said.
If you buy a BLUE-RAY player it will play DVD movies you already bought, Heck it can play VCD as well....thats the exact comparison everyone here should be concerned about.
The thing is it's EASILY manageable and it will take no sweat to do that, a single patch can make so many gamers happy and proud owning classics on their day one when it came out back in the da...
