U.S. sales near 14 million. It only took four months, but Call of Duty: Black Ops has already taken the top spot as the best-selling game in U.S. history.

CoD has put dollar signs in publisher's eyes, thats why there are multiplayer shooter games with 4 hour campaigns,and shooters with "rpg elements". Until Cod stops selling like crazy, don't expect a change. FYI, Black Ops is the highest selling game of all time (in the USA).... the future of gaming looks dim.
