I think 97% is a lil on the steep side yet i know the PS3 acounted for a huge amount.. i spent nearly enough on the PS3 and all the software and movies to buy a car.. and i don't regret it one bit!!

I honestly can't wait for the next Armored Core, i've always been a big fan for the series, the CG is incredible!! there top notch in that department, and i've always loved the speed of things, heh if somethin like this ran any faster would ya be able to react fast enough?

I agree No goin back to DVD, (unless i have to).. Nothin looks the same, in fact i got Polar Express this holiday on Blu-Ray, ended up watching it at the same time it was on TV, my uncle and I agreed not to go back to DVD after we saw that huge differance.. Nothin looks the same once ya go to Blu!

Yeah i'd say thats about right.. in fact sense i've had the PS3 i havn't bought anything but Blu-ray... unless i couldn't get it on that format but last few months havn't really been a problem with that anymore..

I disagree with whoever wrote this.. and compared, just look at the color, more defined in the PS3 version as well as much less pixelated.. much smoother.. plus too much motion blur ruins things IMO.. i can't explain how much i disagree with the writer..
The amount of Halo Sales just goes to show that the reason behind ppl wanting the original xbox and the 360 was basically just for halo.. and other fps... but mostly for just halo.. without halo where would the xbox and 360 be today???
I think what the article is saying is the fact when ya line up release dates the PS3 is starting to do much better even with higher price..
I wonder how many of those 360's are ones that ppl bought after there 1st or 2nd system RRODed, I havn't had a single problem with my PS3 sense i bought it on release day.. (expect for the fact my original one was stollen when my apt was ransacked a week later, but oh well guess they REALLY wanted it)

IMO I really don't need car damage, GT doesn't need damage to be the best simulator, yer not supposed to drive like a crazed madman anyways.. wouldn't mind scraps and dents yet no need for carnage like in Burnout..I love it for how real it is

Well I never had any doubts when i invested in the PS3 last year, i always knew Blu-Ray was goin to win in the end and now that the war is coming to a close i'm glad it didn't last as long as it was thought to.
Sony really knew what they were doin when they put everything in one package.. 2008 really will be the year for the PS3 and Sony, Blu-Ray, Great Exclusive titles, PSN taking off when "Home" comes along, and OLED TV's to top it all off.. can't say much bad about this co...
Well Japan's sales are finally posted, looks like everything dropped pretty bad.. 360 of course just a steady dead fish out there.. and that makes ps3 110K or so more sold then its rival.. it didn't even need the japans #'s this time tho.. 360 dropped like a rock in the states compared to before anyways..
now its a question of how much further all of the systems fall the next few weeks.. before taxes of course.
I agree with ya 100%, and i hope one day we will get to see what programmers can really do with the Cell processor.. IBM has recognized its potential and Roadrunner will soon be done using the Cell..
The power of the ps3 is insane, and won't be untapped for a long time to come. Just look at the folding@home project of Stanford! They even admit they haven't been able to get all they can from the system, nowhere near. maybe one day, they and devs will unleash its power

Well they (Gamestop) just got my reserve.. reguardless of when it'll accually be out, i'm still putting my $5 down.
I'm seeing all this bad news for the PS3, yet these numbers are just American ones.. why don't they just show the worlds #'s and comments will change.. the PS3 kicked ass everywhere else.. plus its the first year.. let the snowball keep rolling and we will see how big it gets after it has momentum..
