Well, I've recently bought both Trine and Braid and I'm enjoying both, so my interest in 2d platforming has jumped.
I hope this game is good along with Sonic 4 when they both release this Spring.
More 2d Platforming titles ftw!
So far This is game is pretty good. Its sorta short but the game really shines when you play online especially when you play the Higher level quests. You should definitely get this game if your into Jrpgs such as Final Fantasy 12 or .//Hack series, otherwise its better to wait and get FFXIII.
Anyways, can't wait for the second game in the White Knight Trilogy. Hopefully, it comes to look like what they wanted to do as shown by the 2006 E3 pre rendered trailer.
There's a price to pay when you have to compress a 50gb game onto a span of three DVDs and not only that they actually had to make a new engine for the Xbox360 version to work. Lets just hope it doesn't get worse like having to switch disc to go back to certain areas like Star Ocean IV.

You can say its more of Yoichi Wada and his decision to have the FFXIII team stop at about half way finished on the PS3 version to split the team and spend three months to port it over to the Xbox360 in which they were forced to actually create another engine for the Xbox360 version.

While you do bring out a good point that PS3's top selling game include fps. Most people that own an Xbox360, mostly buy FPS or TPS. I mean if you looked at the NPD sales data. You can see that Modern Warfare 2 sold twice as much as it did on PS3 which has to tell you something about the majority of its demographic considering that Jrpgs on Xbox 360 hasn't reached anywhere close to those numbers especially its latest one, Magna Carta 2. I dunno about Mass Effect 2, but ...
PS3 version will sell the most. Why?
1.Its on One 50gb Blu Ray Disc
2.It features Uncompressed Content such as Sound
3.It Features 1080p Cut Scenes

I hope this game stays PS3 exclusive so it can be true to what it set out to do and hopefully, they don't try not to appease the western gamers by licensing someone's else song such as "My Hands" by Leona Lewis for their theme song.

Aren't demos already free? Unless they're giving us the chance to play the full game for a limited time I don't get why you would mention its free unless you were charging for demo... or I guess doing the quarter method where you pay like 50 cents and your given three tries like Trash Panic.
I think this true as Many publishers are now taking advantage with the PS3's features such as Blu ray or PSP Connection.
EA showed support for PS3's blu ray as they released Dante's Inferno Divine Edition for the PS3 in which uses the extra space for more content where as Ubisoft utilized PSP to PS3 connect feature for Assassin's Creed 2 to unlock bonus weapons.

I think Amazon's top sellers list is pretty good way to show whats popular and in demand. Not necessarily sales wise but it gives an in sight in what most people are interested in.

I'm guessing your saying that it will sell better on Xbox360 here in the US rather than it would have sold in Japan if they had not gotten the Advertising rights outside of Asia for FFXIII in which would result with Sony not getting FFXIII as a PS3 exclusive in Asia.

I'm guessin Sony got FFXIII as a PS3 exclusive in Asia in exchange that MS gets advertising rights and bundle exclusive outside of Asia. MS is probably trying to get a piece of sales for FFXIII even though it will sell the most on PS3 considering that its already 2 million ahead in japan.

Well, you should start it up again and get ready for some PSP gaming this year because PSP has a few notable titles coming out even though you know should have at least turned it on and tried Dissidia because its a badass psp game.
