I doubt it. The jump isn't gonna be that big.
"You might not like seeing this articles but it'll only lead to making a better console in the long run."
lol at you even believing something so ridiculous.
Probably because you are him....lol
"People buy consoles for the exclusive GAMES."
That's total BS. Maybe some do but not the majority. Real gamers buy the console that they think will give them the most enjoyment and sometimes that doesn't mean just exclusive games. And will you guys please stop with the "MS could take that money and make a certain amount of games" argument. I'm sure they can afford to finance any game they want. It's all about making good business decisio...
They both do but one is more business savvy. Sony won't charge for online because they never have, and that would come back to urt them. It's not because they don't want to. They have to find ways of making money from these services.
You obviously didn't read the list or you are just like him.
In other words it doesn't matter what they do because you will never like it.
Comparing a shooter to a beat-em up makes no sense. Shooters will prefer Gears and others will choose GOW.
Listen to all the fanboys hating. When they had a deal with sony the same thought it was so great. I guess we will have to wait to see what this is. Knowing EA and MS this could be just more than exclusive DLC.
I knew they would end up charging for this. They would be crazy not too. Sony wants that money too.
It's not the gaming community's fault. Sony should od made sure the device had strong support before it hit store shelves. The vita is definitely in trouble and the PS4 might help it out IF sony does it right.
"PS4 will be a much tougher competitor than PS3".
That's because it has to be. As I said before, this is do or die time for sony. MS announcement doesn't have to beat sony's. When they both hit the market is when the battle starts. If MS comes with a good price, good services, BC, and added features with some good games they will be in good shape. Right now xbox360 is the best selling console in the US and the next one is sure to repeat that. Sony's ...
And it probably will.
onlive fell because it cost too mch money for them to run. Onlive was worth way more than Gaikai and they own more patents too.
"Didn't they hire some guys from the failed Onlive platform? How did that compare to Gaikai?"
Onlive didn't fail. They just sold out just like Gaikai did. For you that don't know Onlive was worth way more than Gaikai but it sold for a cheap price. Onlive was worth over one billion but sony bought Gaikai for just over 300 million. MS doesn't need to go guy any cloud gaming company. They are capable of creating their own. They are a technology company,...
Nintendo still has a lot of cash on hand, unlike sony. MS can exit the industry and still be ok because windows still runs over 90% of computers around the world. Sony needs this industry more than ever now because their other divisions aren't making a profit and PS4 is like do or die for them.
"Sony has always been a powerhouse"
Not anymore. Those days are long gone. They got beat by Apple in portable music, Samsungs TVs are outselling theirs, Their movie studios aren't no.1 anymore, they had to drop and sell off the cell, and their cameras aren't doing well. They have been losing money overall for the past 5 years. That isn't a powerhouse. Can they get back to where they were? Maybe, but it won't be easy with MS, Samsung, and Apple still ...
Or it could be their 8gb means it's on par with the xbox now. We don't know for sure. All you guys gonna be shocked when both of these console wind up being around the same.
And still outsold the competition. One thing for sure and that is this is do or die time for sony. They better be careful and not let MS undercut them on price or they could be in trouble. Most consumers don't ask about specs when buying a console so all this talk of type RAM is ridiculous. That stuff is only for developers.
"it seems like they are trying to make an all in one box with their cable like service that is developing."
And sony is doing the exact same thing. They just don't talk about it as much. Sony even bragged that nextflix on PS3 is used more than any other device. Sony wants that living room too. It makes sense because out of the two they are much more of an entertainment company than MS is.
