I totally agree with your theory there Gwave, but I must say that innovation is what's actually killing the rpg genre. I remember the days when rpg's actually had stories that made you feel like you were part of something. Now its all about 100 hit combos and little kids that haven't hit puberty yet, but somehow manage to have boobs. Ive pretty much given up on rpg's since FFX. Now that was a great rpg. I dont care what any f@got reviewer has to say about this game. they are not gonna stop me from buying it. I would have gotten Uncharted 2 and Ratchet day one as well but these so called reviewers said both games were mediocre when in fact they were AAA games. I just didn't know that there was bias against games until 2008. I didn't know that the gaming media sucked balls until I found out what a fanboy was. Thank you n4g for showing me the light.
I actually have the demo and the jaggies he is talking about are non existent. He must be playing on a crappy tv. Also, he talks about the character interaction and how there is none but he actually has no clue what he is talking about.

How did it deliver man? Crappy online, the same ol single player, slightly updated graphics. All it is to me is Gears 1.5, but it failed because the online in part 1 was 100 times better. They should have just added more maps for part one the way they did it for part 2. But hey, I forgot the microsoft camp loves paying for things that should already be on the disc.
All that I want is what the previous games were like before, but include voice chat online and I will be set for a very long time.
Okay, Gears of War 2 could barely hold its ground with the games that are out already. I highly doubt that Gears 3 is gonna have as big of an impact as Gears 2 did simply because it didn't deliver what was promised. And that was a game that was supposed to be better then the original. Sorry epic, you might as just name your studio Epic Failure because you have not produced anything good since the dreamcast days with Unreal Tournament. BTW, thanks for screwing up that game as well.

This game is a straight rip off of Wipeout, thing is though the graphics dont even look a fraction as good as Wipeout HD. BTW, Fzero is still my favorite space racer of all time, its not Sony's fault that nintendo wont make a current gen version of the game.

After seeing their scores for Killzone 2 (8.75) and Halo Wars(9), I really doubt if they understand the word defining. I like gameinformer, but they are very biased and I dont take anything they say seriously at all.

Wow, now I see what this game is all about. The vast area playground is all a gimmick. Ive seen so many vids of this game and it looks BORING. I dont know why anyone would pick this up unless they are just sick of all the racers out, which wouldn't make sense cause there are so many good racers out this gen.
