I agree fully what he says about review scores, sites, and how people should be making up their own minds. Publishers and sites shouldn't have as much lower as they have.
Can you imagine the whole new level of trash talk?...
People don't believe their Governments and corporations would do such unethical things until a whistleblower like Snowden shows them proof. And even then make excuses for them or buy the lies that come afterward.
That's where terms like 'mindless masses' and 'sheep' come from.
I hope that people don't just take it and say 'whatever' when they're shown violations like these.
Imagine if people like Snowde...
If you listen to the video, he actually states twice that it WILL be rolled out in the US AND Canada. I don't know how John missed that twice.
I buy a music CD, I get all tracks, verses, interludes, etc.
I go to a movie, I see all action, climactic ending, teaser after the credits.
In games I buy at full price, I'm faced with buying items for the main game and multiplayer, colours, characters, alternate endings, REAL endings, content that could/should be part of the game.

So I guess the author of this article (from a major website)must not even have the game or system by your "logic"...
Is there ANYTHING you would disagree with on your preferred platform or game?
This video talks the absolute truth. I'm glad we're seeing more of these videos and blogs to spread the word about what's really going on and what consumers are being conditioned to accept.
Hope this isn't their way of saying more DLC, shorter campaign s etc...
I'm soo glad that more & more people are catching on to this. Ultimately I hope that publishers & developers will start to make complete games again, no day 1 DLC, patches, etc. once they see people aren't buying their incomplete versions.
Spread the word, we might fix next generation.
Why didn't MS use their HD-DVD for games at least? Maybe would've lead to more game content and less DLC overall.
This article made me ask myself a question. Would you give up TV? Or console gaming? I'd give up TV.

Give me more difficulty in new game+ at least, adds more replayability. Who wants to go anywhere, anytime and beat the crap out of whoever, whatever without worrying about losing? Being a God gets boring lol.
Great game anyway though!
There are lots of rage-quitters who would use disconnects etc as excuses.
Hopefully this will make them man-up.
And those with bad connections, hopefully this will make them finally fix their problem connection. Not fair to teammates like me in a firefight when my partner disappears, I get overrun, and our team loses because of the disadvantage.
Love the update Naughty Dog!
For people that buy into the rip-off and say it doesn't affect anyone else, if this sells how long will it be before the other big 2 do it, thus affecting the rest of us?
Look at when DLC 1st started happening early this gen. Look at the subscription MS introduced, Sony said 'I can't ppl are buying into this?!' Next thing Playstation Plus happens.
I could go on, point is if you buy into things like this, you hurt yourself now, the rest of us ...
@joeorc
True on all counts, and if ppl are honest with themselves, they know its true.

@maniac
DLC, hardware services, it leads to the same thing. If enough ppl buy things that should be free, how long before every company does it? They'll see there's ppl like you who will pay for these things, then they'll do it, then you've screwed us all.
If only ppl didn't buy/support DLC as much as they do, we would actually have complete games that ppl would buy more of. But because ppl showed that the chop&sell model works, we'll all see it for just about every game. Whether we supported it or not.
Or we could make companies stop by not buying it therefore forcing them to change this business model. Do enough ppl have the willpower is the question.
It seems strange to me that the comments so far mostly seem to talk about the drawback from the article that some users are having.
Yet none of the comments, or the article mentions what I think is the biggest feature which is Shareplay. The fact I can play a game I don't have for awhile, or let a friend play my game seems mention-worthy.
