Ya that sucks man. It took like four days for me to get past the tutorial race (I deleted and then re-dowloaded the original title update and that seemed to help). I have been able to play but it crashes so much and often takes forever to load. I really hope they can iron everything out so that it can become actually playable. I would just be a bit disappointed if all the time i spent levelling up my character goes to waste. I hope you are able to play as soon as possible.
If this is true I am going to be quite pissed off. I have worked hard to level up my character and I do not have that much money because I spent it all on garages, cars, guns, clothes, etc... If this is true then all the time I have spent being patient to get through the bugs, crashes, and other issues so that I was able to level up my character will go to waste. I hope this is not true.
I was lucky enough to get to play a demo of Ryse using an Xbox One at FanExpo in Toronto and it was a lot of fun. The visuals are amazing but more importantly the gameplay is great as well. I found the fighting to be very satisfying and awesome!
While the "surprises" must have been great for PAX attendees, and it was great to see some new footage of Titanfall, it is a bit disappointing to say the least. The way it was worded made me think there would be some new announcements and I got excited. Oh well, whatever.
I was hoping that it would be like Gamescom where they announced another game, Fable Legends. It is not a big deal I just got my hopes up.
@UltimateMaster
I believe the reason the pre-orders are so low is because the game does not have a release date yet and is coming out in quite a while. Titanfall is also a new IP. When the release date for Titanfall is announced and the date is near I have no doubt that pre-order numbers will increase significantly and that when the game is released it will sell quite well.
I am super excited for this game. It looks like a lot of fun and I love the sic-fi setting and the interplay between the Titans and the Pilots.
Also, for those stating that the game is going to not sell well on the Xbox One and backing up this claim by referencing the current low pre-order numbers for the game, you must realize that the game does not have a release date yet and is coming out in quite a while. One cannot rely on pre-order numbers when a game is not due to be r...
I played this at FanExpo in Toronto and I had a great time playing it with my good friend. Our reaction was the opposite of what the 2 IGN reporters had; we came out of the demo very positive since the gameplay was entertaining and the game looked incredible. That is just my opinion though.
Same! Every article about the game is extremely positive.
I am so excited for this game. It looks like so much fun. This video got me pumped! :)
I look forward to playing with you No Limits. :)
That Titanfall statue is awesome. I am very excited for this game.
In general I always try to get the hard copy of a game. I just enjoy having something tangible, but I am not opposed to downloading games, just a preference.
Hey Hammad, I am going to be getting this on the Xbox One. Sadly I do not own a gaming PC.
Everytime I hear about this game I get more excited for it. It just looks like so much fun!
Despite all the amazing blockbuster next-gen games that are coming out, Project Spark is one of my most anticipated games.
Very good point. I was only pointing it out because I was stating that it must be fun for the attendees to get to try out the next-gen consoles. Regardless though, they get to try out the games which is what matters.
Have a great time!
Looks like a lot of fun. I wish I could attend. I have a question for my fellow gamers: If I had the opportunity to attend one gaming convention, which would you recommend? I would like to go to one and was wondering which one other people considered the most enjoyable? Thanks!
Sounds like a lot of fun for the attendees, as they get to try out both consoles and play some games.
Interesting tidbit from the article, not that it means much: "Actually, the PS4 itself isn’t technically being played. The console is under glass at each station, but the actual games are powered by a dev machine hidden in the case. Microsoft, in contrast, is letting gamers play actual Xbox Ones."
I got to play this with a friend at Fan Expo in Toronto and it was a lot of fun. I am super excited for it. I pre-ordered it after I played it.
