Also Tiger Woods 11 is already patched for Move.

We all know they will drop it like a bad habit just like they did with the first Xbox. Imagine how many more PS3's would have been sold if Sony had dropped the PS2 as soon as the PS3 came out.

The PS3 will only be 4 years old this November. I think 38 million or whatever it is at is pretty good for just under 4 years on the market. Thats 9.5 million per year. At that rate if it is on the market for 11 years like the PS2 then it will sell around 104.5 million units. That will make 3 consoles in a row that sell over 100 million units. I just don't understand how people can think that the PS3 is failing in any way??
I love getting new things to download every month. Its really nice because I am low on cash because of all pre-orders I have coming in the next few months. Its nice getting to play a new game every couple weeks. This is really helping me to fill up my 16GB PSPgo with minis and PS1 classics. I have played them all and they are all pretty good so far.
You people need to get a clue. Its "select" because the number of PS+ subscribers far outnumbers the number of beta slots available for this particular game. You guys act like they should just create betas for every PS+ member. The fact is they may only need 100 people for this beta. They could just say screw it and not let any PS+ members in it. I say just be happy you get a chane at all.
The reason you only get a "chance" at the beta is because there are much fewer beta slots open for this particular game than there are PS+ subscribers. Its up to the devs how many people they want/need in their betas. Sony has no say in it.

Actually DlocDaBudSmoka is right. Nintendo went to Sony and asked them to develop a CD based add-on for the SNES. Nintendo then backed out becausse Sony would own all rights to any new IP developed on for the add-on. This pissed off Sony so they decided to release it as a stand-alone console to stick it to Nintendo. This is all pretty much common knowledge.
That still leaves 30% who don't have their PS3 online. Lets assume that the PS3 has sold 35 million units, that means that 10.5 million PS3 owners are not connected to the internet. If they went with your idea then over 10 million people would have their PS3 bricked on them. What part of that even remotely sounds like a good idea???
Edit: I am using 35 million as an example. I know this is not the actual number of PS3's sold so please don't freak out over it...

I buy my music on itunes.
I don't download movies.
I buy my software on disc.
You can easily go to any section of the map and fight if you want and fight with any of the 256 players in battle.
