And just so you know, I think Super Mario Galaxy 2 should be GOTY. It is the highest rated game this year.
Exactly, its voted on by fanboys and people who only buy the "it" games. Your average gamer will not even try most games because they aren't the "it" game to have.
This is not a "PS3 Fanboy" issue. This is a GAMING issue. This list is garbage. The main problem I have is they left the highest rated game of this year out of the GOTY catagory. All they are doing is adding to the idea SALES > QUALITY. I just don't see how this is a good thing.
As a "PS3 Fan" I am more upset that Super Mario Galaxy 2 is not up for GOTY. How the hell is the highest rated game this year not up for GOTY??? That alone is enough to discredit the entire list for me.
Heavenly Sword still holds up today as far as graphics, gameplay, story and voice acting. The only downside is that if you run through it as fast as you can it can be beaten on "Easy" in around 5-6 hours. Because of this it was crucified by the press for being a PS3 exclusive when it was the "Cool" thing to bash anything PS3 related.
While Alan Wake is one of my favorite Xbox 360 games, it is not even close to Heavy Rain's league. I may get labeld as a Sony fanboy for this but it's not even close at all.
Walmart and Kmart in my town combined have about 20 of them sitting on the shelf. The really strange thing is thats what its been like since the day it launched. Either they are getting a steady stream of them or they aren't selling. Either way its far from selling out around here.
VUDU is a pay as you go rental service. There is no monthly fee. It works just like VOD from cable tv providers.
You can if you made a save file before you beat it. Most people who play Fallout games know to make multiple save files so they can go back to them later.

I agree 100%. I have my Logitech Driving Force GT on arriving bfore GT5 gets here. I can't wait to play GT5 with it. There is no way I am playing it with a controller.

I am sticking with the Driving Force GT. It fits into my budget bettter and I can live without the clutch pedal and tap shift option. I will be ordering mine in the next few days so it gets here before GT5 does.
