Didn't we all already know this?
I took it more as them actually being hurt that a game they spent so much time on, and one that they are probably very proud of, was thought to be so bad. Simple as that. Any one of us would feel the same way.
I agree. Reviews these days are based more on hype and the all mighty dollar than the actual game itself. And before I get flamed, I am not talking about bribery for good review scores. What I am talking about is a site pruposely inflating or deflating scores of "AAA" games in hopes of getting more review copies/hits/ad revenue. Somewhere along the line I think we lost sight of what is most important. THE GAMES.
I agree with your scale 100%. I would aslo suggest that most games will fall into the 5-8 range with only a select few recieving a 9-10. I can count on both hands the amount of games I would give a 10 to over the years (Hint: not many are from this generation).
The low software sales are due to piracy. Plain and simple.
Translation:
Can we get away with deducting points for Online Passes if we can't come up with any other faults??
Very classy!!! R.I.P. - Dan Wheldon :(
I DID pick up on the sarcasm. I was just giving you crap. :P
240,000 not 2,400,000. :P
You are an idiot!!!!
They get paid when the FIRST person buys a a NEW copy of a game. Once that game is traded in and then sold to the SECOND person, it becomes a lost sale. Doesn't sound like much but it does add up over time.
That being said, I think there should always be a used games market. It is our right as consumers to sell the products we purchase once we get tired of them.
700 people strong huh??
I came for the comments about the photo. :P

Nope. Not even joking a little bit. She has her own PS3 in the bedroom where she plays MAG and Resistance online. She also plays Left 4 Dead onine in split screen with me on my 360. She has her own Gold membership. She's pretty much a keeper. :)
My wife's favorite games are MAG, Resistance 1-3 and Left 4 Dead 1&2.
I have a very good PC but this still makes me yawn.
I have to agree with you. America as a whole is way too sensetive these days.
I buy most DLC for the games I own. The main one that gets me is Rock Band. I buy WAY TOO MANY Rock Band songs (I am up to around 1000 songs for RB3). I just can't help it.
