There is just too much money in consoles for them to suddenly die. Not only are games on consoles very lucrative, but all other digital media is entering the living room through consoles.

I find the PC versus consoles debate funny.
It's mostly a demographic difference, where PC gamers are mostly PC enthusiasts, and console gamers don't want to troubleshoot hardware and software to get their games to run.
Both will be successful in the future, the two platforms just cater to different demographics.

I find it interesting how fashionable it is to bash COD or Activision in gaming forums. Sure Kotick is an ass, but so is the CEO of every publicly traded company. That's how they became successful.
I agree, boycott if you feel like a particular game isn't worth your money, but Black Ops has already sold more than MW2, which was the highest grossing entertainment opening of all time. They'll be making money with or without you.
I love Mass Effect 2, I connected with that game on such a deep level, it is no doubt my GOTY.

Activision won't sell online subscriptions, they'll sell high margin DLC at regular intervals. New content makes gamers happy, increased revenue stream keeps investors happy.

Mass Effect 2, hands down best music in video games. GTA 4 and Fallout 3 deserve some mention. Also, MW2 had some amazing music. Please don't hate because I said something positive about MW2.
