I think it is a nice idea and is much better than releasing on psn with no tweaks. I just bought GoW collection and hear good things. I will get ICO and SoC as they sound gems as well. I missed out but now I get to try them.
lol I hear you I just bought Mario Galaxy 2, Donkey Kong, Bioshock 1 and 2 , god of war trilogy, dead space 2 and pre-ordered KZ3. Will keep me busy for a long time. Also need to pick up Batman AA and Mass Effect 2
With Quidco I got a total of 28% but still cost me 109!
Still got Bioshock 1 & 2, God of War collection, super mario galaxy 2 and DKC returns (which hardly NEVER come down in price for 1st party Wii) Wanted Mass Effect 2 and Batman but were out of stock :( Still those Wii games new at that price is a steal.

This is what happens when you try to expand to a wider audience, you risk alienating the hardcore fans. You can't have a happy medium.
Still miles better than COD.
Normally by the 4th, 5th, 6th game things feel like cashing in for the sake of profit. However with GG it doesn't feel like a 4th one would feel like a cash in. Whether it is the expansive universe created or just how polished these games are, I don't know. But I would happily buy another one. I think they would need to higher a better script writer to stop all this criticism.
On that note it annoys me how games like Gears get away with a crap story but no one batters ...
LOL I have just ordered the trilogy dirt cheap, heard nothing but praise. Would be cool if a new trilogy was around the Nordic gods or something.

No it wont. unfortunately KZ is the underdog of the great exclusives. Compared to UC2, GoW 3, GT5 etc it seems to sell less than the others.
Going to need more original franchises this time, got fed up of the lack of new franchises with PSP.

Exactly inconsistency in game reviews is the worst! Gears of War story and acting is terrible but the game gets pretty much 9s across the board. Right? So how is it when KZ3 doesn't have a great story it gets points deducted severely?
Now one is a tps and the other a fps but they essentially do the same thing. Kill this, that and the other.
Oh btw that bit with the mechs fighting looked awesome and that alone is an improvement.
I agree, the masses won't flock to KZ3 they already have their sights firmly on COD and if that is what they enjoy then so be it. No one is going to change that.
Whilst it is a good score I think this is a horrible review, doesn't mention hardly anything. Shame to hear about the story I thought it looked more interesting than 2 but I will have to see for myself.

KZ3 for me but each to their own.
It is good there isn't much revealed, although it feels a lot has been seen. I think KZ3 might take us by surprise about how much there is in the game. I suppose KZ2 was a showcase for what could be done but I think more attention has been put on the game this time around
Not a good idea to link games to a console rather than an account. I can understand as a business strategy it may stop second hand 3ds which means more profit to Nintendy. However we are screwed if our 3DS goes wrong.
I got given the PSP and DS as presents, I never had much intention on getting one. As it stands I have not bought a game for the PSP for 4 years. I find the catalogue just smaller versions of the PS3. Which isn't what portables should do.
As for the DS I have put many hours into it, loved it through and through.
On that basis I picked up a 3DS for £160 new via vouchers and cashback, would not have dropped full rrp price on it. I wouldn't buy one ...
