As much as I like my psp has it really is used as a mp3 player in my car, whilst the DS is sat beside me with the new professor layton on. I don't care for the psp2 at the moment, time will tell though. I prefer the DS over the PSP any day and look forward to the 3ds more but. Why? well yes the DS may lack in a lot of features but it has better games for me.
Exactly, if I was to bang my head against the wall every time an article like this came up my head would be a bloody pulp by now.
I finished the game twice but no where near got all the trophies. I enjoyed the game it was a good solid shooter maybe not revolutionary but certainly a good frag fest. GG are one of my top developers because they do care about opinion and now they have feedback I can't wait to see what is going to be in the third installment. From the previews so far, it is meant to be a more refined experience but if you hate KZ2 then you may not like the third one.
No one knows really what the price will be so all we can do is speculate for now.
If it does cost an arm and a leg then I probably wont pick it up until a price drop. However there are other issues for me, what is the online capability of the 3ds like? Nintendo have not really talked about the rumored friends list, achievements or what additional functions will be added with firmware updates. Is the 3d aspect really worth it for the price? Will it be too cramped using the ana...
Well I am 24 I am still young but I do feel the DS is for a younger audience than myself. However, I love the DS so I don't feel the 3ds is too young for the mature audience.
I may wait for a while on this one and see if a) 3ds has a much better line up of decent games in years to come (currently there are only a select few) b) the new features really make a difference i.e are we going to get much more functionality with the firmware updates, how decent is the web browser...
Doesn't look particularly all that interesting tbh.
I think KZ3 is going to be a much more refined experience, I know GG had good intentions and let us be honest it was a much better attempt than KZ1 irrespective of the hardware difference. GG try hard and their commitment to patching KZ2 reflects this but it did have it's problems. I am certain KZ3 will be a much better experience, I will eat my hat if it is not.
No don't remember seeing that said, I have to confess I do download games for my DS but do end up buying decent titles I am a firm believer in supporting quality titles. Now you can hate me for it but I don't care because I buy the games that deserve talent and not waste my hard earned money on crap shovelware.
I think Killzone 3 will be a much more refined experience, yes Killzone 2 had it's shortcomings but I think KZ3 will be a much better experience. I always admire companies who learn from mistakes and GG have heard our cries, they patched KZ2 as much as they could but I think KZ3 will be a much better game (not that KZ2 was bad but it was a marmite game)
It is excellent played it non stop when I got it have not touched the MP yet nor have I gone back to it I really must.
I have no problem paying this price, whatever it will be in the UK (depending what happens in March 2011 for me) I love the DS and this looks to win me over again. I don't mind paying money for a product I am going to enjoy.
I would if the price was lower or a bundle of all the episodes, but no way am I paying this much for one episode.
Mine too, it is the most replayed single player I have played this gen. By that standard I can't wait for the sequel one of the most underrated games this gen I feel.
What about Dead Space 2?
I knew it would be that damn German site again and the video quality of this is awful.
Not pleased with this price, especially since I know there are more episodes planned. Ah well I should learn by now, *looks over at Capcom*
With game consoles it should never be about the hardware, it is always about the games. If we have to talk about hardware then just look at Killzone 2 and Killzone 3 running on out dated hardware they look superb. Why? because it is how games developers utilise the hardware not the power of the hardware.
I detest PC gamers and any other hardware powerhouse fans who come along and chuck money and nonsense at how much better their games look. They have a point indeed but I am m...
It is still the best value for money Blu ray player around but it is a little disappointing to hear this news combined with the other Blu Ray 3D problem that has emerged.
For some this is going to be a serious issue.
It is a shame Guerilla Games but I guess they have not been around as long as the others. I admire their commitment nevertheless and what they are doing with Killzone 3 looks fantastic not just in graphics, gameplay but above all what the fans are looking for to be improved on.
Other than that I mainly agree with the list.
:)
