the difference in 3rd party performance isnt that great to make up for the lack of great FP games sony offers. Sony studios always work magic with visuals. No 3p games other than witcher 3 come close to Horizon or Uncharted. Shit Im playing Second Son atm and it is a gorgeous game that crackdown3 cant even touch and thats sad seeing how old that is compared to a game that isnt out. ps4 pro still best value. unless you really need 4k battlefieldtwo or something.

Am i the only one with eyes? that game they showed called Doom looked super muddy and pixelated. .Not to mention the framerate. Skyrim also looked pretty subpar to me tho that looked pretty enough for a handheld that id buy it. it definitely is not the remaster the ps4 and Xbone got. but that Doom tho yuk. Also Xenoblade looked like an HD wii game.

it might. the Pro while i like mine. wish they woulda went beast mode like the X and charged the additional 100 bucks. i think the same fans woulda bought it. no UHD is ridiculous. Both shoulda upped the CPU since in the end we will only see marginal improvements over the base models. and the PS still has the much better games. Im playin Matterfall which is a forgotten exclusive that i think is awesome!
its not a fanboy thing. i own every major consoles since ps1 and have a gaming pc and had most of the handhelds.i just at this time enjoy my vita more than i do my switch in 2 years i hope that changes.as the switch is a great handheld hardware wise. I just would like some non games that have a more mature theme than everything being cartoony and all ages. im def gonna get skyrim on it tho.
3ds does have a great library as well. too bad the actual hardware is pretty booty. i so want metriod samus returns but id rather they port it to the switch. tho just like the vita if one purchased a 3ds today they would have a great library to play. one day the switch will be there too. just not this day.
yea but if you bought one today the access to great games and enjoyment is exponentially better than the switch at this point in time. i have both and i still pick up the vita way more. i love zelda and mk8 with the kids nothin else really gets me goin yet.
vita has a massive library. switches library is mostly trash fam.
in the end it doesnt matter.both systems would be tons better if they werent cpu bound. so yea you will get some improvemnts over the pro, but you will not get consistent 4k 60fps on the one x. and if that isnt the norm the pro has it beat in terms of library and still beutiful looking and running games. if you are an xbox guy get the x itll be a great machine. i feel starhawk shoulda had a much better existance. ir was a pretty great idea and was fun as hell. would love to see that repackaged in a marketable way and get sony a good true MP game to compete with other heavy hitting mp games. they are king of the sp experience tho

2020 would be fine. there is definitely 3 more years of life the ps4 has. the Scorpio while a beast compared to the ps4 OG its not that big a gap over the pro so in terms of a generational leap, it wont be there. Parity will be there between the 2. ps4 user base at almost 60 million and counting, sony will not abandon that for a new system and they would be stupid too.
technically wiiu was 8th generation so wouldnt that make switch 9th. also Scorpio is really xbox two so that wiill be 9th as well.
honestly, as a vita player i dont think i really game more than 2 hours a time on it. the switch is basically a vita replacement for me, so 2.5 hours battery on a AAA game is acceptable to me. plus we all will get those external chargers and other solutions, so we will be fine.
Being a self proclaimed pony its stupid to boast this since evey one x optimised game will be better than its pro counterpart. The pro ismthe inferior box. Library on the other hand well thats a diff story.
