Does it really matter, you seem really upset about it and so I ask are you upset if I say I would buy this on PC cause I already have one and wont spend a couple hundred on an XBOXONE when I don't have to. Its because it came Out in Fall.
I use SquidGrips on my controllers and I really only have one complaint, the first layer will start to peel off after a few months of use but even then I would recommend them.

I notice improvements when im on the main interface with just a SSHD and I've put two next to each other to make sure.
SSHD in my PS4 and I notice an improvement in my games loading and interfaces
