Well last Gen I bought Batman on my Ps3. It looked better on the 360, but I wanted for my PS3. It didn't have nothing to do with power of the console or resolution. I simply need to show my PS3 some love over my 360.
Yup Sony laid the blue print out and that's how you play the game. Actually MSFT is making it even more acttractive because the 3rd party companies get to retain their IP. Well that's why Phil Spencer has came in and put the focus back on games. Sony took PS3 whole generation to correct the mistakes they made. ALA PS4 Microsoft is responding immediately.
