Not gonna happen. Microsoft has nothing to offer to Sony. I mean, Sony owns lots of first party developers, Microsoft doesn't.
Yeah, this gen they managed to do well, just because of a pair of smart moves (releasing a year before and buying a lot of franchises to go multi) in addition to Sony's arrogance and hard to develop PS3.
Still, I don't feel they got enough to compete with Sony or to make Sony want to join them...

It looks small and cheap. Looks like a little piece of plastic, doesn't give the feel of having a real plasma cutter.
I got a G25 just to play GT5 and I can swear it is worth every cent. Best piece of peripheral out there by miles!
