LOL Same thing happened with me, but oddly with my older brother.
It all comes down to entertainment, people have different tastes. Me personally I never got into the Sims, Second Life, or MMOs. But I do enjoy logging into Home every once in a while to see what kind of stuff they are adding, and I have met some cool gamers from Pool, Chess, Bowling, and game launching with SF4.

If you were actually paying attention to the video and not quickly hating, you would know that you can change the jump mechanics to whatever way you want it, even add in a double jump if you want.
