I'd have to say a part of me agrees with you on this one. I think that criticism comes from a semi-familiar thematic structure to Bioshock (and to some extent Bioshock 2). I think too that aesthetics clearly took center stage in the development of this title. Unfortunately those aesthetics sometimes verge on cartoonish which, for a Mature-rated title, is a little strange. All that being said, though, it's got a lot going for it.
I'm kind of torn honestly. I mean I love the Warcraft universe but there's also a part of me that wants something new. Although I guess with a distant prequel we would get both of those things...I don't know.
Say what you will about its stupidity, but it's not an article. Methinks someone didn't bother looking...
