Considering most AAA games are garbage $60 films with little to no replay value anyway, I'd say the WiiU isn't missing out on a great deal.
But the game was already on every platform under the sun. I myself have it on PS3 and Vita.
So instead of attempting to address the glaring problems with games "journalism" and polygon in particular, Russ decides to throw a shit fit and attack the writer of the original article by using feminist (obviously) shaming tactics.
The fact that someone has seen the need to write an article that outlines the many, MANY shortcomings of games "journalism" seems to have completely gone over Russ's head.
Put simply, when hipster feminists lose interest in...
@MightyNoX Kotaku is owned by jezebel, that's pretty much all the information you need.
Which reminds me, I need to get around to finishing Metroid Prime.
Forgive me for being "that guy", but isn't that the joy of having a headset, that it's surround sound?
Last night.
I thought it was IGN who said it, not sure what it is with these reviewers and bashing Nintendo lately. And this is from someone who doesn't own a Nintendo system.
Mario and Link have no personality because they're designed that way to make it easier for the player to project onto.
Yeah, how will 3DS and Vita survive without all of those flappy bird clones and micro-transaction laden king games.
Handheld games consoles have absolutely nothing to fear from mobiles. The problem with mobiles is, when you have a device that attempts to be a "jack of all trades" it inevitably ends up a "master of none".
3DS and Vita try to be nothing other than gaming devices and that's why they're not going anywhere.
"Waaaaaaaaa, a game studio won't pander to muh feminism!!!!"
Fuck off.
Why is this here? It has nothing to do with console games.
Not to mention the fact that it's shit.
Why the hell has this social justice blogger been approved on a site about gaming?
Are these just for the US or will this sale be coming to th EU as well?
I was actually going to buy P1, 2 and 3 a few days ago but decided to grab Ys1 & 2 instead. If this sale is coming to the EU as well though then I'm going to be all over these as I'm loving P4G at the minute.
Apparently it's owned by gawker these days.
This was a brilliant article though, it just goes to show how reactionary games journalists have become, I remember when sites would post tongue in cheek articles and we'd all have a good chuckle at them..... I miss those days.
No
@JohnnyTower Oh you meant the titles of the games themselves? Good god son be more specific haha.
I apologise, I admit I did jump to conclusions there. In any case, I will agree with you, there are some good old nippon games that fall foul of translation in the naming department.
You've not been gaming for very long have you?
I think you may find that the worst games have come from, and continue to come from western companies.
I'm really not sure what's going on in this trailer. Looks fun though.
I think it's for the US only dude.
