Sony had huge momentem going right from the beggining of the year, going into E3.
But Anonymous did have some problems with Sony, with Anonymous weekly saying how they are going to attack Sony and bla bla so who knows.
Oh i see, well hmm i guess you could be right, as Sony just keep BS'ing over and over again. first it was 2 days, then 1 week, then next week, then friday, then weekend, now we are just left hanging. no updates for the past 2 days.
Could be really good news, keeping quiet for 2 days and then BAM they are going to turn it on, or they are quiet because they have no idea when PSN is turning back on and dont want to break the news to us.
What they said to Bloomberg is exactly what they said to us on the official blog last week.
They told us on the official blog that PSN will return in phases, with PSN online play being the first.
The Sony spokesperson talking to bloomberg is talking about everything up and running.. including qriocity + other services, for everything to be working as normal might take till the end of the month.

Im getting paid on wednesday so im planning on picking up a XBOX 360 on thursday, hopefully they get it up anytime before then, so i dont have to.
I really dont want to pay for XBOX Live but if i want some online multiplayer action then i guess i have too. Il just get a 3 month thing.
C'mon Sony please get it up, and if you dont atleast give us an update, even if its nothing new, just send out a new official statemen...

I will keep my PS3 for whenever PSN does return.
But who knows XBOX LIVE is socially a better network then PSN, i might actually enjoy it more.

No problem, even i got excited yesterday when i saw it, and put it in a comment and told everyone to check it out, but i got a bunch of disagrees lol.
Its been like that since yesterday, it doesnt mean anything really, maybe means theres internal testing, but doesnt mean if we are any closer to the PSN coming back up.
But they didnt. Nearly everything was encrypted except for our names, address, date of birth. but credit card details was 100% encrypted.
I just went on Facebook playstation app, US/Japan have some trophies synched where no other country has. Maybe thats the internal testing going on, but i checked a few hours back and they wernt there, hopefully this means we are getting close.
Should be back on by tuesday, i mean Brink is coming out, a big multiplatform game.

I Totally agree with you 100%, its the hackers fault.
But Sony could have handled this a whole lot better. I DONT mean about them taking so long to tell us about credit card details but just about keeping good communication with thier fanbase/thier consumers.
They should keep us up to date, even if there is no update. Even if there is no news, i would prefer them to tell me that, so i know they are thinking about thier consumer...
Thats you. Theres another 50 mill+ people out there with PS3's.
I have many games, but i have played them all. When i buy a game, i play it and complete it. for example i have red dead redemption, but i already completed it when i bought it when it was released. I dont want to play it again.
You cant expect people to play offline games only, this gen is heavily based on multiplayer and was like that since day 1, its been 3 weeks now.

On the blog they were only talking about the welcome back package and that we can expect that early next week. if thats still early next week, meaning monday-tuesday, then PSN will defo be up before monday.

i thought the same thing when i read the headline, but nope when you read the article they said when everything is up and running, Treyarch are not sure themselves and are not talking about this weekend.
