Man the hype is getting rediculous. People dont even know anything about this game. I love ND too, but seriously the delay and the fact the demo was delayed to come out only a little while before the actual game releases, makes me feel unsure about this game. I won't be a mindless drone who hypes up a game even more than the company who makes it does. I'm gonna wait for reviews to come in before I buy it. Been burned by too many overhyped games simply because people overhyped it.

Sorry but I would count them out. Did you even read the many factual reasons I provided? Theres no chance for a comeback. Not even 1st party support can dig them out of this grave. They will probably make the obligatory re-hash and then release a new console in 3 years. They will not survive this gen with thw Wii U. ATLUS is the best Japanese publisher right now: SMT, Persona, Demon's Souls, Catherine, P4G, Trauma Center, etc

Wii U is an insignificant non-entity to Sony and MS come this holiday season. Especially to core gamers (and even casuals, who now prefer phone games and also kinect-like controls: And Sony & MS got that covered). Wii U's 1 gb of RAM (with another 1gb being wasted on the OS) will leave Wii U in the dust.

Wii U version = no profits made since virtually most Wii U owners likely already own a ps3/360 already.

I would love it if ND made the new MGO for MGS5. He was building an LA studio, but no one knows anything about it. He should just work with ND and make the online portion exclusive to ps3/ps4 (since ND is a sony company).

I want ALL kinds of jrpg's, even the non turn based ones. It's not as simple as turn based jrpgs vs western shooters. There are so many shades of jrpgs. Japanese games have a certain level of quality that western games dont have.

I thought it was 500+ hours like monster hunter...not that i'm complaining about 100 hours though.

Nintendo's not even 3rd party, and yet i'm still disapointed with them. Nintendo hasn't been relevant to core gamers in about a decade. Ever since Iwata was made prez during the gamecube era. Yeah but his point is that nintendo isn't providing meaningful competition. Sony and ms act like nintendo isn't even a factor. So if nintendo fails, it's nothing to sony and ms. Wii u is about as threatening to the ps4/720, as those old Tiger electronics game & watch portable toys are to the ps4. Nintendo is a non-entity to Sony and MS when 2014 begins.

I know i'll get some slack for saying this, but Persona is the new final fantasy. It blows even ff 7-10 out of the water. Seriously dude u HAVE to play Persona 3 and 4. Amazing games and about 120-160 hours to beat EACH of them. Best storytelling in gaming history.

Stop trolling on Sony products and go back to your ailing Wii u.

Man, there are even more shades of grey with this issue too. Pc games are cheaper because they come with online passwords just to play. AND they are beginning to have DRM so u gotta be online just to pay (so price lowered due to annoyances, and game companies get more money since they essentially eliminate piracy). If their too lazy to make the game last longer, than they should be paid accordingly--$20 to $30 for short games.
