Without Zelda-like exploration and puzzles/dungeons, then iy is just a cash-in. Simply putting Link in a Dynasty Warriors clone isn't going to get it the sales that would usually be expected of a Zelda game.
Hopefully they DO add the dungeons and puzzles and exploration that fans of Zelda love.

I agreed 100% until u said you hated the ending. It's one thing to dislike it, but to HATE it? It was the best and most unexpected yet profoundly shocking endings I've ever seen in any fiction. It took a lot of guts for ND to end it that way. Not everything in life has happy endings. In fact, most of the time life is filled with disappointment, and likely due to the actions of other people (in this case, due to Joel's self-serving decision).
I personally think $10 would have been fair (for the stand-alone dlc) considering that it was only 2 hours long, had very little action, and the season pass was $20 (so paying $15 for just The Left behind is kinda disproportionate, even on a sliding scale).
But the story was FANTASTIC. However, $10 would have seemed more fitting imo.
Of course. We're still having issues getting every game to be 1080p. There will be another generation.
I loved the Dreamcast (Samba De Amigo, Phantasy Star Online, Jet Set Radio, etc); But in my opinion, the greatest game console was the PS1. It changed everything for gaming, for the positive.

I don't want a sequel to Joel & Ellie's story, but a prequel for Joel or some new characters would preserve the awesome ending of TLOU 1 for me.
Yeah it IS a dumb idea: The infected cannot control one another, nor can the spores control another without first being INSIDE of the host. So how exactly is Ellie supposed to be able to project her commands to them? At best, the might stop attacking her (since she might give-off some scent/whatever it is that keeps the infected from attacking each other), but her being able to control them is nonsense.
Please let the "sequel" use new characters. The story for the original is perfect as it is, and continuing it would ruin the impact of the original's ending. It's best that the story continue in our minds.
But a sequel/prequel could make use of new characters in new cities. There are so many opportunities for several stories to be told in that world. Possibly the formation of the fireflies, or some other scenario. Plus I believe Naughty Dog is talented enoug...
