While Blu-ray's are awesome to watch, I myself don't mind average quality, I think this being the You-tube generation it is has desensitize us to the quality of entertainment. I have no doubt Gears of War 2 will be a great game, unfortunately it won't move consoles, history shows us that the demographic who already owns a Xbox 360, usually end up buying this game. In 2007 PS3 outsold Microsoft worldwide, even with Microsoft's flagship title Halo 3 being released that year, it was still outsold, this alone gives me reason to believe this game will not improve console sales.
