To be fair though Gears of Grey was.. desperately Grey, overly Grey, not saying Killzone 2 ISN'T, but to hold the candle onto next-gen graphics it might be forgivable because god damn it if it doesn't look like the best game out there.

These Previews can be so completely skewed, just like the Haze demo, it can go one way or another, I happened to love it, alot, wish I could underline ALOT of people hated it, but whatever a preview is a preview but the guy doesn't seem overly negative, but it's like he's almost bitter that PS3 has a quadruple A title.
I'll have to agree to some level, I'm still pulling my hair out over how reviewers gave it 10/10 for graphics, I'm sure PS2 or even lower rez graphics on a nex gen game is just unacceptable, I don't care if you gave me a whole continent to play on.

CoD4 isn't the most innovativegame but god damn is it fun to play, I dunno i would be a little disappointed as well if i played LBP hah, not to say that Killzone isn't amazing. He doesn't say it IS, or it IS'nt amazing but he does say it goes a little bit over our expectations, whether or not that was meant to be mediocre or not this guy must understand the HYPE and expectations for this game are sky high, and saying this game goes over our expectations even if just a little bit is ridiculous...
