Honestly, I'm not worried about a monopoly cause that will probably never happen. Instead, we should be worried about an oligopoly something very common in the US and is known to cause problems. ( AT&T, Verizon, T mobile) Cause we should be worried about this industry becoming one controlled by Sony, Microsoft, Tencent

Ya, I was tweaking settings and checking out the menus a bit too. So maybe I could have finished one level in an hour of constant play. But 100hrs of play to finish a battle pass (if everything goes perfectly) still feels too long to me.

Tried the game and it's fun. But I gotta say the Battle Pass is kinda grindy, played for 2 hours and didn't even finish one level.

Totally agree, been playing nonstop(My family actually got a little upset). The only thing I wish they would add is the scoreboard and a few small tweaks which honestly isn't hard to add, but besides that, the game feels great!

If anything we should look at the cautionary tale of Netflix. The service started with the same promises and was delivered similarly at the start. But today their content is shallow in hopes of keeping the platform filled with content, and their profits are too low.
I would say enjoy gamepass for the next few years (that's what I'm gonna do) until Microsoft's board of directors decides that profits aren't enough to fill their socks, and they up the price
