Obviously the game is going to be great, but yeah there will people many who would have issues with it for whatever reasons. Like people who hate great games like GeOW, RE4, MGS4, BioShock...etc.

If its blu-ray technology and all that requires is a firmware update, and just as long as I don't have to buy another expensive player, hell go for it!
I know several older folks (non-gamers) who purchased the PS3 for the simple fact of watching Blu-ray movies. At the time early last year, the PS3 was the cheapest, yet best Blu-ray player on the market. Probably still is or maybe not anymore, I dunno, havent kept up on the Blu-ray fiasco. I got the PS3 to play the Resistance and MGS4 but I do own a few Blu-rays myself and I'm planning on picking up more since I just got my new 1080p TV woot!
Good graphics grabs your attention, good gameplay keeps you playing it.
BTW, I am a "graphics whore" myself, yet I own a Wii.

Fanboy battles makes for good entertainment reading. It brings out some of the worst and best of people as both sides dig out some very interesting (and sometimes ridiculous) stuff. Needless to say, i'm definately looking forward to Gears2 and possibly Too Human for the 360. I am however also looking forward to seeing Killzone 2, LBP, Resistance 2, and the FF games on the PS3.
But lets hope the gameplay will hold its own....
Obviously looks good, but not "blown away" by how the second one looks as compared to the first GeOW. Like many has said, the first one already set the bar pretty high.

I was actually one of the few who managed to aquire a PS3 at launch and sold it immediately for a nice profit on eBay. Haven't considered a PS3 since then and was actually hoping all these "suckers" who purchased the over-price-yet-doomed beast of a machine to feel stupid afterwards. Of course, this was during the time that the PS3 was doing horribly as opposed to the other two consoles and i was actually glad that it was failing. In the mean time, I was still enjoying Metroid Prime...
Theres like what... 25 or more reviews who already gave MGS4 a 10/10. So expect someone somewhere to stand out and give it a 6/10 (sony/ps3 hater, or hates good games in general). Its already pretty evident that MGS4 is among the bigs ones (if not bigger) like Gears of War, Resident Evil 4...etc. Can't please everyone - even if there is no logical reasoning for their thoughts.
?? I thought F-zero GX was one of the best racers in last gen!? But i am definately looking forward to a newer F-zero for the Wii.
I got the Wii for RE4, Zelda, Metroid Prime 3, Galaxy, RE:UC, and Brawl. Quality "hardcore" games are there, but to appeal to a larger casual audiences, those simple games will continue to thrive. Just as hardcore games will continue to be around.
Hopefully it'll be good cause i'm actually looking forward to this game. Considering their last game Eternal Darkness was pretty cool, I'm hoping they can bring the same quality to Too Human.
I dunno...some of those huge boss freaks in Metroid Prime 3 took me forever to freaking kill. But I think Bitores Mendez from RE4 was by far the most memorable for me...especially when he transform into that twisted looking thing, slowly walking at you..
this sucks...it keeps moving the screen up everytime you try to jump...
