Alien Isolation worked so well, because it fits the alien horror theme on the other hand when you have group of marines, the real alien atmosphere disapears. Shooter will be a lot harder to make it right, after last try (colonial marines) i dont give it much chance... But if the game would be something like multiplayer only: humanVsAlienVsPredator teams asymetrical, gear/gene progression, procedural map generation - this could work for me.
I hope the slim version of PS5 will have more travel friendly design. Im on business trips 4 months a year and i dont think the corners would last very long.
As a PC gamer i dont think backward compatibility should be "killer feature" but a standard.
Difficulty is very relative... as I am mostly PC gamer i find any boss fight on PS difficult, because im just not used to targeting with sticks on PS controller. However many console games have targeting assist - magnetic targeting or just bigger hitboxes.
You mean the ninja harpoon you can use? This was already done in Half Life:OF some decades ago. If there is no deeper gameplay mechanic included in the game then it is just generic quake clone.
