Sony has already released sales figures for the first 3 weeks of sales of 1 million worldwide. And those are actual 'sold to customer' numbers that both Sony and Nintendo use, not the inflated 'sold to retail' numbers Microsoft still uses.
And, LOL!, at vgchartz.
FAIL
And double LOL! at anyone who still think some Xbox fan who was banned from the neogaf forums for his incredibly retarded attempts at pretending he had access to retail tracking numbe...
How is vgchartz still getting into the submission queue?

needs to be auto-failed. N4G.com struggles enough just keeping non-name blogs and other garbage articles off the front page without having a fradulent sales site being constantly spammed here.
I would say it is more of the fact that it isn't Microsoft itself but the type of people the company attracts.
The Microsoft employee trolling or trying to trash Gran Turismo that was caught by the neogaf admin wasn't the first. The very same guy, Che from Microsoft first party developer Turn 10, who is responsible for all those silly fake Forza 2/3 screenshots not only incessantly trolls Gran Turismo threads on neogaf, he is so dumb that he managed to actually get a tag under ...
So if Microsoft numbers include all the consoles that are sitting on the shelves all over the world and sitting in store warehouses, wonder what the real installed base of the 360 is? 29 or 30 million?
A million PS3s I think brings the worldwide installed base up to about 26 million.
That would certainly explain why we keep seeing these sales numbers from publishers showing the PS3 and 360 generating about equal revenue.
Microsoft has to be in a pa...
"she had a big smile on her face"
because it is a fundamental part of Japanese culture to be polite and smile even when you are faced with something that went this badly.
"C'mon Microsoft, get this stuff worked out!"
But what incentive does Microsoft have to come up with anything good?
There is almost nothing else to look forward to in 2010 for the 360 due to the outdated hardware and tiny Microsoft first party. So this is being hyped as the 'greatest thing ever' by hardcore Xbox fans and Xbox fans in the gaming media because its all there is to hype.
It's the same situation as Halo ODST. Microsoft had no ...
'douche' is the perfect word to describe the guy. Don't know why Microsoft can't see that the guy is doing more harm than good.
How humiliating that this is what Microsoft has been reduced to in the console market. That was just embrassing to see.
I still remember back to the months before the Xbox launched and the talk of how Microsoft was just going to take over the console world.
I guess this is what happens when Microsoft can't or won't afford to release new console hardware after losing 7 billion dollars on the the two Xbox consoles.
Microsoft obviously can't compete w...
Halo has now become the laughing stock of the console world.
Congrats guys!
Just have your Halo buds in the gaming media give the games 1 milllion/10 from now since that is what you want to hear.
The rest of the gaming world just rolls their eyes and laughs now at anything Halo related.
The silly little shiny green power ranger has jumped the shark.
"Nice to see another great review. I'm going to the midnight launch in a bit. I can't wait! "
Going to a midnight launch for a 60 dollar expansion pack? My god is that pathetic.
These 'reviews' are absolutely hilarious. The utterly asinine 10/10s for GTA4 were the wake up call gamers needed to see first hand what a complete farce game reviews are.
These joke Halo 3 ODST reviews are the final nail in the coffin of any pretense of credibili...
The only honest comparison of Sony and Microsoft's online services is this question:
If you were given a choice, would you give up free online play for all console owners and lagfree dedicated servers for something like talking to someone else playing a different game?
I don't think PS3 owners would put up with the poor quality of Microsoft's online service even if it was free. After playing with the smooth as glass feeling dedicated servers give you even in 64 p...
9.6/10 people who click on this story laugh when they see the score and double check to make sure it wasn't a typo.
Uncharted 2 has nothing to do with this game.
These reviews are almost painful to read. They really show just what a complete joke they are:
"1. It's f__king Halo man, of course I'm thrilled!"
This game would be getting 5/10s or worse if it was on any other platform or Microsoft actually had a huge line up of exclusives.
"This game looks AMAZING"
It is mind boggling that the PS3 is putting out graphics this amazing and at DOUBLE the resolution of games on the Xbox 360.
You really just have to shake your head in disblief at the lies spread about the relative graphical power of the PS3 to the Xbox 360.
Not really even a review.
More like some irrelevant cheerleading and then they picked a score that was as high as they thought they could get away with and not look ridiculous like Eurogamer.
9 or 9+ was obviously out of the question for an expansion pack with not much content and outdated graphics selling for a full retail price game.
Under 8 simply wasn't possible because the reviewer is obviously a hardcore Halo fan.
8.8 is high e...
That's the problem for Microsoft and their desperation to hype Halo.
Halo 'reviews' are treated the same way the bogus 10/10 reviews GTA4 are.
Even if Microsoft once again handed out hundreds in dollars of gifts for this 60 dollar Halo 3 expansion pack and got 9-9.5/10s no one but existing Halo fans would care. The rest of the gaming would look on with a mix of pity and amuesment and go right back to not giving a damn about anything having to do with Halo.
This game does look embarassingly bad.
Obviously a multiplatform Call of Duty game was never going to be anywhere remotely near Killzone 2 type graphics. But if I didn't know which platform this footage was comging from I would have assumed it was a Wii game.
"VGChartz was set up by Brett Walton in September 2005..."
snip BS
That was a hilarious read!
VGChartz was set up by Brett Walton in September 2005 after he was permantly banned from the neogaf forums for posting fake sales numbers.
Brett Walton loves his Xbox 360 and likes to pretend it is selling in really big numbers.
It is hard to imagine someone so pathetically desperate to create an entire website just ...
"I was banned from VGChartz because I called them out about how they were undertracking the PSP and PS3. At E3 2009 Sony said that the PSP SOLD over 50 million+. VGChartz had the PSP below 49 million, I called them out on it and they said that Sony annouces SHIPPED numbers and that the PSP really didnt sell that much."
Yes.
Sony and Nintendo both made a big public announcement in 2006 that they had switched to reporting actual sales numbers for their co...
Wow, those Forza 3 shots are horrible. The lighting is embarassingly bad on the cars.
Staggering that the PS3 is not only putting out massively higher quality models, lighting, and materials.
But doing so at DOUBLE the resolution that the 360 can handle.
