I mean I get the point of what the author of the article is saying, but I fall into the category of works a lot and spends a lot of time with my family, but even so I want my videogames to be pretty long when I do get a little time to myself to play. It might take me weeks to finish but I don't mind as long as the game is fun. I really don't want to spend $65.01 on a game I'm gonna beat in 5 hours.
Well don't get your panties in a bunch if the remake ends up real time cause the developers said the combat will be different but recognizable to the series which doesn't necessarily mean it will stay turn based. It could mean you'll recognize all the moves the characters use but it doesn't play the same. So however it turns out remember FF7 is more than just being about turned based combat, there's a story and characters that can definitely be enjoyed in a different style...
I for one am happy as hell. I always wanted to play gravity rush but never wanted to buy a shitty as Vita for one.

Lmao capcom made one of the worst remakes I've ever seen when they made DMC. That game was a remake though which did what it's supposed to do, remake things like this game. This game is a remake though, not a remaster. You said it yourself that dramatic changes in combat sounds like something that should be in a remake which this game is, so what's your point?

You're right I'm not a blind fan who just buys anything because something I like is slapped on it. Maybe people like you can but I refuse. I didn't say I was dying for the game so I won't be crying, I said I'm interested now that it most likely won't be that boring turned based crap. Also how do you know what they will do? Even if it's kingdom hearts style that's 100x better than their original combat system imo.
Good get rid of that turn based bull crap. I want to fight the same way they did in advent children and I didn't see them taking turns. I want real time, fast, action packed combat not that turtle speed turn based bull. I wasn't even interested in the game until I heard this news.
I wouldn't say they are totally unrelated. I mean it's not like it has a whole bunch of costumes from Nintendo games like pikachu and donkey kong. All these games are from Capcom and this is Sengoku Basaras 10th anniversary year so Capcom is celebrating that. The only thing that isn't a game is the TM Revolution costume and that's there because he's done every opening for every Sengoku Basara ever so he's a big part of the series imo.
I was down with this guy till he dissed Marvel, but approved Star Wars...I'd much rather see Sora fight heartless Super villains like Venom or Magneto than a whole buch of boring clone wars robots or other enemies that mostly all fight with light sabers or light guns. Marvel has way more potentiel and interesting characters. I get that the world's are very different, but in a game series that includes both Sephiroth and Winnie the Pooh I don't think that should matter.
Sad part is that they prolly made the original Xbone controller not so great so they could sell this crap lol.

Laugh all you want, but that was one excuse ND gave saying way they won't go back to Jak and Daxter because they've moved on to the more realistic style of Uncharted which saddens me. So if you're laughing it ain't at my words it's at Naughty Dog's.
I'd rather have naughty dog work on Jak and Daxter than get this, but they're too busy with the realism of uncharted...
I despise Xbox with all my heart and have been a sony/nintendo fan my whole life, but this update is just plain weak. Last time a PS4 update truly got me hyped was Masamune and that was only because it added the option for Custom Soundtrack.
