Excellent! I am looking forward to giving this a shot. Even if just to see how well it keeps up with the original.
No a big player of the meta game. A few games I love I want to master, but an achievement is nothing more than a fun distraction if I get one for something stupid. Small achievements are fine for me is they are marking amusing things designers want to attract attention to, its not what the game represents for me. That said the one about stacking them would seem like a must.
I dont really feel any Zombie fatigue, happy to keep gunning down everyone as long as they are entertaining. At least zombies have a good reason for being stupid bullet sponges.
Stylistically I liked it but the game play was a little sloppy. Nice interview though.
It is always weird to see japanese reviews of western games, reviews rarely match up with their metacritic.
They are not memorable because they are more complex and we dont continually start from the start (if you see what I mean). We simply dont here short simple melodies over and over again so we dont remember them.
They both have their place, but I suspect without nostalgia starting these old games now and hearing the same track over and over would have you reaching for you ipod.
Oh and most of Ridge Racer 4s music really want that good.
Capcom said (for what its worth) that this won't come to any other systems... TvC2 however the suggested might.
I had been looking at this kind of enviously on store shelves here in Japan knowing I wouldnt understand it. Seeing this I could import but Im not sure I can do 2 JRPGs in a year though and with FF13 so close...
"The headline for the game also mentions one other interesting feature of the title, the download price. While the retail game will be near 5000 yen if you choose to download it will cost you 3800 yen (a saving of 1200 yen)
No, thats 5000yen for the boxed copy and 3800 for the download. Sorry if I worded it poorly.
Think you just listed my top five games. Have and love all of these. The fact Dead Space only shifted 1 million units is just sad and I can only hope that Mirrors Edge gets a sequel.
Yeah, I was luke warm on the demo when I tried it. It was more the way it played than the look though. I liked the style and filters, but the actual character models and level geometry was quite weak.
Not a bad list, sure there are one liner from a number of smaller games that would make them in (some of Heavenly Sword would fit) but many of these are certainly some of the most narrative driven/heavy games of the generation.
Played it and enjoyed it, but bar alternate environments/physics there was little they could really do to expand the title while keeping its zen sensibilities.
I was worried the article was going to be a fan rant, and while I am not a huge believer in the review system as a whole at least its based on some outside sources and not the authors personal opinion.
Button man would be amazing to adapt to a movie or film.
Nice episode.
Hope it works in Crossover games, I would rather have this on my laptop.
Guess there are none in Japan.
Fable 2 for me.
I will try it out eventually. Nothing said here or any other review will effect that. I am sure its a solid game, all the Halos are, but I am not a big online guy and dont want to pay full price for a 6-8 hour game. Especially not when I would have to import it.
