Also, there kind of are character skins in the form of Armor Kits. You can currently unlock Noble team via the battle pass.

Not everything is grindable. You aren't given currency from the battle pass and much of the battle pass is locked behind a paywall which is the point of the article. You can grind and get some stuff but you can't get everything if you DON'T pay.

You're not wrong man I applaud you for being able to save your cash. Customizations are my Achilles heel in gaming though and I eat that shit up. They suckered me right in. I've seen streamers who have whaled and bought the pass out too. They're definitely making their money and that's not a bad thing.
