Still, Blu-ray discs are way more expensive than regular DVD discs. On the flipside they hold significantly more, but I've never minded a game coming with multiple discs... I feel like I've gotten a better value on my money.

It all comes down to the games each system offers. I would beg to differ on the 'one console to rule them all' arguement.. everyone has a preferred system! Its all about the games, and 360 is leading the pack as of yet. HDMI isn't really needed... just look at the Wii, who is kicking both the PS3 and 360's ass in terms of sales. Apparently 480p is still valid.
