I don't agree with the conclusions you've made in this post regarding time travel. All you have done is taken 3 games with 'good' examples of time travel and 3 examples of other media with 'bad' time travel and then written off tv, and film based on that.
Take Star Trek for example, the time travel story line in the film did upset some of the fan base but it was done to reset the story line and allow J.J. and his team to carry on without worrying abou...
