I'm a pretty big fan of these official microsoft blog sites. It's great that they are finally sharing with the consumers up and coming product information. it could save them a lot of grief in the end. will hopefully prevent them from having another 'vista' episode.

I still can't really understand why you would need a controller for your Eee PC or Eee Box. It's not like they will be able to play any decent games.
I think the future of Microsoft is in safe hands really. Ballmer has a good business head on his shoulders and that should keep Microsoft well and truly at the forefront of technology. I don't think they will be making any huge strides forward anytime soon but they won't lose any ground.
Just because companies like Apple and Google are gaining so quickly doesn't mean that anything is being taken away from Microsoft really. OK, perhaps Microsoft is having to share more of the mark...

Agreed, you must take your time and do some research. But where do you begin? A lot of people who are in the market aren't as down with the technicalities of the TV as you are Fishy Fingers.

My PCs sound isn't good enough to drone out the sound of my hard drive so it will be great to have a silent drive while gaming.
Another thing to remember is the huge decrease in price of the Apple MacBook Air's SSD. Is this the first sign that prices really are starting to drop?

That's your call to make as a reader. You can take what you want from it. However, I can assure you that the writer, which wasn't me by the way (I may be biased, I use a mix of Firefox and Opera), has no strong browser preference. In fact, he uses IE7 because it came with the machine he uses and he couldn't be bothered downloading another.
Of course, it goes into a lot more detail than just that so it's probably worth a read rather than just taking funkeystu's comments and being done with it. But thanks for telling everyone that darth Vader is Luke's father!

agree with you there. Vista isn't all that bad, but XP is far more stable. Now that we all know 7 will be out in a year, and there is XP SP3, what is the point of going to Vista unless you just can't wait? Direct X 10 I guess is the one major reason for gamers anyway.
