I lol'd at FF13 using 100% of the PS3's power. We all know that's a lie (especially since it has to be downgraded for a last gen console like the 360). FF13 won't even be able to touch Killzone 2 and even Uncharted 2 was said to be using around 70% of the PS3's power or something right? No way in hell FF13 will be using more than 30% considering both Uncharted 2 & Killzone 2 blow that garbage out of the water.

I don't know. Crysis itself was a horrible game and the graphics were the only good thing about it. Having the graphics engine on consoles this gen will lower the quality compared to PC. I mean Killzone 2 looks better than the engine they showed for consoles (aside from palm trees; then again Killzone 2 didn't have palm trees to show off).

I would assume a lot of people have a good enough connection for it. This will only threaten the future xbox consoles though as most of their "exclusives" are also on PC so OnLive will pretty much eliminate the future xbox consoles easily. Nintendo & Sony have lots of first party games (and good ones at that) plus with Nintendo being innovative and Sony catering to the hardcore there is really no need for any future xbox console once OnLive comes out.
I don't think the PS3 was meant to appeal to kids in the first place. Sony's stance on this gen was to appeal to the more mature/older gamers. I'm sure PS3 would be appealing to kids if it had Halo because there are tons of kids on the 360 and on XBL.
If you still can't choose lobbies like the first Gears then the online still sucks. Matchmaking is horrible. Just because Halo did it doesn't mean other devs have to put it in too.
Bayonetta could be the best multiplatform action game this gen but God of War 3 will easily beat Bayonetta for best action game (overall) this gen.

We've all seen what happens when a game that could've been exclusive becomes multiplatform (it ends up flopping). The game could be a lot better if it was exclusive and after having played MGS4, it would be horrible feeling to play a watered down version of MGS5 just because of it going multiplatform. People always call the latest FF the greatest before it releases because all of the FF games by Square-Enix have been horrible/mediocre games so they think it can't get worse than the last game (which it always does). This will be the worst FF since FFX-2 (plus the style looks similar to it).
Playing a FF made by Square-Enix is the equivalent to playing a Crash Bandicoot game made by Radical Entertainment.
The game is made by Square-Enix and it's guaranteed to flop. No point in making DLC for a mediocre game (though Rockstar still decided to do it with GTA4).

"IF" the next FF bombs? I think most of the smart ones who have seen the trailers and S-E past history KNOWS it will flop. Will there be a FF after FF13 flops? Of course, as it hasn't stopped them from releasing the other flops last gen and despite it being a bad game people will still buy it because of the name alone.
If it goes multiplatform then it would just hold the game back. I'm still a fan of MGS though so even if it did go multiplatform I would still play it (though I would only rent it rather than buy it). I used to be a fan of the FF games too but S-E screwed those up so bad I won't even play any game from them including the FF games (they don't even deserve a rent even if I could get it for free).
