Burst Limit was terrible so I don't care about this next one. The Tenkaichi games still beat that by a long shot. I don't think any DBZ fighting game will beat Tenkaichi 3 though. That game just seemed to have it all.
I'm sure if it was shocking then they would've had it listed as the top moments. That wasn't a shocking announcement at all since ever since S-E started making the FF games they have been going downhill. This is why nobody cared except people who will still buy anything with the FF name slapped on the box.
He says you can't pick a winner for E3? I guess he must've had a 360 as last year & this year is nothing special for Microsoft. Sony is still pushing out exclusives. Even Nintendo seems to have some hardcore titles lined up. I would get a Wii I just don't like motion control being used for every game. I like how games such as Uncharted, Heavenly Sword, & MGS4 used the motion control but not like how Lair used it.
And games like Fallout 3 & GTA4 are nominees (also looks to be the only nominees for this "GOTY"). Maybe someone should tell GT that those games came out in 2008 and that it is now 2009. Even if they meant the DLC it still wouldn't make sense if this is for GAME of the year and DLC =/= game.
I guess it's just GT's typical fail like their comparison videos.

They should've bundled the PSP with a game actually worth playing. S-E is garbage so there is no point in supporting that game. If you really want to play that mediocre game then just play a friend's copy (if he's stupid enough to buy/rent it) or pirate it.
Well, any game can be done on any console as long as it's watered down and tons of stuff are stripped from the game that would've been in the original product. I mean just look at FF13. It wouldn't be possible on 360 unless they toned down a ton of stuff and that's what they are doing. This is why you see the new Crysis engine for consoles. It doesn't look as good as the engine for PC. Crysis can be done on consoles but it won't be as good as the PC version.
But I would choose Ghostbusters over Batman.
If the game was really that good then why did they make it so where you have to basically buy (pre-order) the game just to get the demo? It sounds like they weren't too confident in the game if they did that. Sure it will eventually be released to everybody but it doesn't really seem like it will be a good game from the way they made the demo a pre-order "bonus".
The more I see of this game, the more I want Prototype instead.
I didn't think that was a sad moment at all. I just really didn't care and to me it seemed a bit too predictable. I thought FF7 was an ok game but not as great as everyone wants to believe. I really didn't feel any emotional attachment to that game. It was just too "out there". I admit that Crisis Core seemed to be better than FF7 as far as the whole emotion thing goes but I don't see why people thought that was sad or anything.
So gamers chose games from 2008 to be GOTY for 2009? I guess the people who go to GT fails just as hard as the site itself. Then again, the people who actually voted for those games probably only have a 360 as their is really nothing else to play this year for them.
